Why a guide and a driver change a Dubai day, and why language matters here.

Dubai is a city built for cars and arranged by the hour. The Burj Khalifa queue at eleven is an hour; at the opening hour it is minutes. Old Dubai and the creek are a pleasure at nine and a furnace at two. The Palm entrance is not where the map says, the Marina has one way in at six in the evening, the Abu Dhabi road is an hour and a quarter on a good morning and two hours at the wrong one, and the desert is best at the hour the tour buses are leaving. A visitor with a taxi app and a list sees Dubai in the wrong order at the wrong hours. A visitor with a driver who knows the city and a guide who speaks their language sees it the way the people who live here would show a friend.

We put a chauffeured car at your disposal for the day, with a licensed guide who speaks your language: English, Arabic, Russian, Portuguese for Brazilian families, Spanish, French or Italian. The day is built around you rather than a bus route, the driver is ours and knows the roads, the guide is licensed under Dubai's tourism authority and knows which souk is worth an hour and which is not, and both are booked by the same desk that holds your tables, your yacht and your dive. For a recognizable name or a high-value itinerary, the driver is a security-trained officer and the car is chosen for it. Send the dates and the language; we reply the same day with the guide and the plan for the day.

  • A chauffeured car at your disposal for the day, ours, with a driver who knows the roads, the entrances and the hours
  • A licensed guide matched to your language: English, Arabic, Russian, Portuguese, Spanish, French or Italian
  • The city in the right order: Old Dubai and the creek early, the Burj at the quiet hour, the beach club in the afternoon, the desert at dusk
  • Abu Dhabi for the mosque, the Louvre and Yas, Hatta and the east coast, with the same driver and guide
  • A security-trained driver and a car chosen for it when the name is known or the itinerary is high-value, through SIRA-licensed partners
  • Booked by the desk that plans the rest of the stay, so one change moves everything, in your language
Straight Answers

What visitors ask about a private guide and driver in Dubai.

What

What is the difference between a guide and a driver?

The driver is ours: a chauffeured car at your disposal for the day with someone who knows the roads, the entrances and the hours. The guide is licensed under Dubai's tourism authority and walks with you: the souks, the old city, the mosque in Abu Dhabi, the stories and the rules. Many visitors want both; a couple who know the city may want only the car. We tell you honestly which you need.

Language

Will the guide speak my language?

Yes. We match the guide and, where possible, the driver to the language of the party: Portuguese for Brazilian families, Russian, Spanish, French, Italian, English or Arabic. A city is understood in the language you think in, and the rules of the country land better explained gently in your own.

Day

What does a day look like?

Built around you, not a route. A first day: Old Dubai and the creek at nine, the souks with the guide, the Burj Khalifa at the quiet hour, lunch in Jumeirah, the afternoon at the beach club or the hotel pool, the Marina at sunset. A second day: Abu Dhabi for the mosque and the Louvre, or the desert at dusk. A third: Deep Dive Dubai in the morning, the Palm in the afternoon, dinner Downtown with the fountain.

Cost

What does it cost?

The car and driver are quoted to the day and the vehicle, the guide to the hours and the language, each as its own line, with our fee shown separately. One figure in EUR, with the USD beside it for visitors from the US. A security-trained driver sits at the close protection base, from EUR 850 per day.

Security

When do I need a security driver instead?

When the name is known, the jewellery is visible, the itinerary is high-value or the client prefers one. The driver is then a security-trained officer through a SIRA-licensed partner, the car is chosen for it, and the plan is written with the close protection desk. For most visitors a good chauffeur is the honest answer, and we say so.

Abu Dhabi

Can the same driver take us to Abu Dhabi and the desert?

Yes. Abu Dhabi is an hour and a quarter on a good morning and two hours at the wrong one; the driver who did the city takes you to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, the Louvre, Yas or Saadiyat and back for dinner. The desert at dusk, Hatta, Ras Al Khaimah and the east coast are the same arrangement, with the operator we use rather than a convoy.

Why nothing in Dubai is walkable, and what that means for a day

Dubai was built for cars, and the distances that look like a stroll on the map are a highway crossing in the heat. Downtown to the Palm is twenty-five minutes on a good day, the Marina has one practical way in at six in the evening, the old city is across the creek from everything else, Deep Dive Dubai is in Nad Al Sheba, the desert begins forty minutes out and Abu Dhabi is another emirate. A visitor with a taxi app spends the day waiting for cars and paying for the waiting. A chauffeured car at your disposal with a driver who knows the entrances, the hours and the shortcuts turns the same list into a day: the car is there when you come out, the bags stay in it, the guide is already inside, and the next stop is chosen for the hour rather than the order on the list.

A guide in your language: Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, French, Italian

The guides on the marketplaces speak English and sometimes Russian; a Brazilian family, a Spanish couple or a French executive takes the tour in a second language and misses half of it. We match the guide to the language of the party. Our Portuguese-speaking guides and drivers work with Brazilian families from the airport to the last evening; our Russian-speaking team plans and runs the day in Russian, which Yandex visitors ask us for most; Spanish, French and Italian speakers cover the rest of Europe and Latin America, and English and Arabic are always there. The guide is licensed under Dubai's tourism authority; the language is ours. The rules of the country, dress in the mosque, alcohol in licensed venues, no photographs of people without asking, are explained once, gently, in the language the visitor thinks in.

The first day: Old Dubai, the Burj and the beach, in the right order

The first day in Dubai should start across the creek at nine, before the heat: the Al Fahidi quarter, the abra across the water for a dirham or two, the spice and gold souks with a guide who knows which stalls are worth stopping at and how to decline the rest. Then the Burj Khalifa at the hour the queue is short, lunch in Jumeirah with the beach in view, and the afternoon at the beach club or the hotel pool, because nobody should be outside at three. The Marina at sunset for a walk, or the yacht if the desk booked one, and dinner Downtown with the fountain. The car is at every door, the guide leaves when the sightseeing ends, and the driver stays for the evening. That order is the difference between seeing Dubai and surviving it.

Abu Dhabi for the day: the mosque, the Louvre and the road

Abu Dhabi deserves a day and a driver who knows the road. The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is the finest building in the Gulf and has a dress code the guide explains before you arrive, with abayas available at the entrance; the Louvre Abu Dhabi on Saadiyat is a morning on its own; Yas Island has the circuit, the theme parks and the Grand Prix weekend on 3 to 6 December 2026; Qasr Al Watan opens the presidential palace to visitors. The road is an hour and a quarter on a good morning and two hours at the wrong one, which is why the same driver who did the city takes you, leaves at the hour that works, and brings you back for dinner in Dubai.

The desert at dusk, without the convoy

The desert safari sold at every hotel desk is a convoy of forty cars, a camp with a buffet and a show, and a schedule built for the bus. The desert at dusk with the operator we use is a different evening: a private vehicle into the Al Marmoom or Lahbab dunes at the hour the light goes gold, a stop where there is nobody, a camp that is a camp rather than a theme park, dinner under the sky, and the drive back when you are ready. For a family it is the evening the children remember; for a couple it is the dinner. The same driver takes you out and brings you back, and the guide, if you want one, explains the Bedouin heritage the camps have forgotten.

When the driver should be an officer

For most visitors a good chauffeur is the honest answer and we say so. For a recognizable name, a family office principal, visible jewellery on a shopping day, a high-value itinerary or a client who simply prefers it, the driver is a security-trained close protection officer through a SIRA-licensed partner, the car is chosen for it, and the day is written with our close protection desk so the guide, the driver and the tables are one plan. Dubai is among the safest large cities in the world, so the officer at the wheel is about standard and privacy rather than threat: the hotel briefed on the name, the entrance chosen, the photographs planned out of the day. From EUR 850 per day, as its own line.

Good to Know

Private Guide and Driver in Dubai - Frequently Asked Questions

Can I hire a private guide and driver in Dubai who speak my language?

Yes. We match the licensed guide and, where possible, the driver to the language of the party: English, Arabic, Russian, Portuguese for Brazilian families, Spanish, French or Italian. The desk plans the day in that language from the first message.

What is the difference between a private guide and a private driver in Dubai?

The driver is ours and gives you a chauffeured car at your disposal for the day with someone who knows the roads, the entrances and the hours. The guide is licensed under Dubai's tourism authority and walks with you through the souks, the old city and the mosque. Many visitors want both; some want only the car, and we say honestly which you need.

How much does a private driver in Dubai cost per day?

The car and driver are quoted to the day and the vehicle, a sedan, an SUV or a van, as its own line, with the guide quoted to the hours and the language and our fee shown separately. One figure in EUR, with the USD beside it for visitors from the US. A security-trained driver sits at the close protection base from EUR 850 per day.

Is a private guide worth it in Dubai?

For the first day, yes: Old Dubai, the souks, the creek and the mosque in Abu Dhabi are places a guide makes sense of, and the rules of the country are best explained once by someone who speaks your language. For the beach, the Mall and the Marina, the car and the driver are enough, and we tell you so.

What does a day with a private guide and driver in Dubai look like?

Built around you rather than a route: Old Dubai and the creek at nine, the souks with the guide, the Burj Khalifa at the quiet hour, lunch in Jumeirah, the afternoon at the beach club, the Marina or the desert at dusk, dinner Downtown. The car is at every door and the bags stay in it.

Can the same driver take us to Abu Dhabi?

Yes. The road is an hour and a quarter on a good morning and two hours at the wrong one, and the driver who did the city takes you to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, the Louvre Abu Dhabi, Yas or Saadiyat and brings you back for dinner. The guide explains the mosque's dress code before you arrive.

Do you arrange a private desert safari?

Yes, with the operator we use rather than a convoy: a private vehicle into the dunes at dusk, a stop where there is nobody, a camp that is a camp, dinner under the sky and the drive back when you are ready.

When should the driver be a security officer?

When the name is known, the jewellery is visible, the itinerary is high-value or the client prefers it. The driver is then a security-trained close protection officer through a SIRA-licensed partner, the car is chosen for it, and the plan is written with our close protection desk. For most visitors a good chauffeur is the honest answer.

Which car do you use?

An executive sedan for a couple, an SUV for the desert and Abu Dhabi, a van for a family with luggage, all ours, chosen for the party and the day rather than for the photograph.

Do you meet us at the airport?

Yes. Met inside the terminal at DXB or Al Maktoum, the luggage handled, the car at the door, the hotel told a car is coming, in your language.

Can a Brazilian family have a Portuguese-speaking guide and driver for the whole stay?

Yes. That is one of the bookings we are asked for most: a Portuguese-speaking guide and driver from the airport to the last evening, a van for the family, the city in the right order, Abu Dhabi and the desert, and the rules of the country explained once, gently, in Portuguese.

How much notice do you need?

Seven days; guides in Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, French and Italian and the peak weeks are committed early. Under 48 hours is an urgency case with an additional fee and no guarantee.
