Luxury Concierge in Peru
Peru leads South America, by vote and by table.
The World Travel Awards named Peru South America's Leading Destination in 2025, with Machu Picchu as the continent's Leading Tourist Attraction. Lima holds Maido, number one on The World's 50 Best Restaurants in 2025, and Central, number one in 2023.
Algoz is a protection house that runs luxury concierge in Peru as one brief: the entry ticket, the train, the altitude plan, the driver and the officer. Send the dates and the party: one written proposal, one figure per line, under NDA from the first message.
- One coordinator for the whole country, in your language
- Machu Picchu entry and Inca Trail permits secured as early as the dates allow
- The altitude plan built in: the Sacred Valley first, Puno last
- Tables at Maido, Central and Kjolle requested the day your dates are firm
- Jorge Chávez met on arrival, onward flights on the same brief
- Discreet, licensed protection where the name needs it
Hiring a concierge in Peru: the first questions.
What a concierge in Peru does
Holds the entry tickets, trains, hotels, tables, flights, guides and, where needed, the officer, and takes the call when a protest stops the train or rain closes a road.
What a luxury concierge in Peru costs
Client Access is free on application, with annual tiers from Guild at EUR 6,000 per year. Or a single engagement quoted to the brief, one figure per line, confirmed before you pay.
How much notice we need
We ask for at least seven days. Machu Picchu entry sells out well ahead in high season and peak weeks book out far earlier. Under 48 hours carries an urgency fee and is not guaranteed.
How altitude shapes the route
The Sacred Valley at about 2,800 m before Cusco at 3,399 m, Puno at 3,830 m last. A sensible order, not a medical standard: ask your doctor before you travel.
Where we cover in Peru
Lima, Cusco, the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, Arequipa, the Colca, Titicaca, Paracas, Ica, Nazca, Tambopata, Iquitos, Máncora and Chachapoyas.
Is protection included?
No. It is a separate service, from USD 750 per day for one officer on twelve-hour cover. Armed cover only where the law allows it for licensed local agents, on request, with a minimum 30-day lead time; it may be refused, costs more and is never promised. See how close protection works.
Peru concierge services.
Hotels, Houses and Lodges
Suites on the Plaza de las Nazarenas, casitas in the Sacred Valley, cliff-top addresses in Lima, lodges and river ships in the Amazon. In Cusco, a room with added oxygen is not a luxury.
Tickets, Permits and Guides
Machu Picchu by circuit and timed entry, Inca Trail permits through registered operators, and guides matched to the party.
Trains
The Hiram Bingham, a private carriage or the whole train, Inca Rail's The First Class and The Private, PeruRail's Vistadome, and the Belmond Andean Explorer sleeper.
Flights and Private Aviation
General aviation handling at Jorge Chávez, connections to Cusco, Arequipa, Puerto Maldonado and Iquitos, and Nazca overflights. See private jet charter.
Tables
Maido, Central, Kjolle, Mérito and Mayta in Lima, and Mil at Moray. If a table does not exist on your night, we say so.
Close Protection and Drivers
Discreet officers, security-trained drivers and routes timed around the day. Quoted separately, planned on the same brief. See executive transportation.
Lima: the cliffs, the districts and the tables
Jorge Chávez, in Callao, is about 20 km from Miraflores, with a new terminal since June 2025. You are met on arrival, the car waiting rather than circling. Belmond Miraflores Park keeps 87 rooms and suites on the Malecón cliffs. San Isidro holds the banks and embassies. Barranco is the artists' quarter, with Hotel B in a summer house of 1914. Most visitors stay in these districts, and the British Foreign Office names Miraflores and Barranco for street attacks: routine, timing and a good driver are the answer. Then the tables, Maido and Central first. Lima sits under low cloud from late May to November.
Executive transportation in LimaCusco and the Sacred Valley: altitude planned, not suffered
Cusco stands at 3,399 m, about 90 minutes by air from Lima, so we rarely put you to bed there first. UK travel-health guidance advises a few days below 3,000 m before going higher, and the valley offers exactly that: Urubamba at 2,870 m, Ollantaytambo at 2,792 m. Stay at Sol y Luna's 43 casitas, explora Valle Sagrado or Belmond Rio Sagrado with its own railway station. Then Cusco, on the Plaza de las Nazarenas: Monasterio, a monastery of 1595; Palacio Nazarenas, 55 suites with oxygen-enriched air; Inkaterra La Casona, eleven suites. Chinchero airport is under construction, and no plan of ours depends on it.
Travel and destination managementMachu Picchu: the circuit, the train and the gate
Entry is rationed: a daily cap of 4,500, up to 5,600 in peak season, sold by circuit since June 2024. Circuit 1 takes the high ground, including Route 1-B, the Upper Terrace. Circuit 2 walks through the citadel. Circuit 3 includes Huayna Picchu, limited to 400 a day. A train ticket does not include entry. The Hiram Bingham leaves Poroy in the morning, and a private carriage or the whole train, up to 84 guests, can be reserved. Sanctuary Lodge stands 50 m from the gate. Protests closed the site for over three weeks in early 2023, so every plan carries a second one.
Private travelThe south: Arequipa, the Colca and Titicaca
Arequipa is the white city of volcanic sillar at 2,335 m, with the Santa Catalina monastery and CIRQA, eleven rooms in a former monastery. Three hours by road, over a high plateau that reaches about 4,800 m, brings you to Belmond Las Casitas in the Colca valley, and 45 minutes more to the Cruz del Cóndor, where the canyon floor lies 1,200 m below the rim. Puno comes last because it is the highest place you sleep: 3,830 m, on a lake at 3,812 m. Titilaka sits on its own peninsula, and a boat reaches the reed islands of the Uros. The Belmond Andean Explorer joins Cusco, Puno and Arequipa over two nights, in 35 sleeper cabins.
Destination management worldwideThe coast and the desert: Paracas, Ica and Nazca
Paracas is 250 km south of Lima, a national reserve of Humboldt penguins, sea lions and flamingos, and the boat tour to the Ballestas Islands and back takes about two hours. Ica brings the pisco cellars and Huacachina, a desert lagoon ringed by dunes. The Nazca Lines, on the UNESCO list since 1994, make sense only from the air, and flights can leave from Pisco as well as Nazca, with the operator vetted on the brief rather than chosen at a counter. We set the pace so that the road, the boat and the flight do not all land on one morning.
Executive transportationThe Amazon: Iquitos, the river ships and Tambopata
Two Amazons, and they are not the same journey. In the north, Iquitos has no road to the rest of Peru, and Nauta, about 100 km south, is where the ships leave for Pacaya Samiria: Delfin I, II and III, Aria Amazon with 16 suites and Aqua Nera with 20. In the south, Puerto Maldonado opens onto the Tambopata reserve and its macaw clay licks, with Inkaterra Reserva Amazónica's 35 cabanas. Yellow fever vaccination is advised for lowland areas, unlike the cities of Lima, Cusco and Puno, Machu Picchu and the Inca Trail, so see a travel clinic first.
Yacht and vessel charterThe calendar the country is booked around.
Rain in the Andes, sun in Lima
Cusco's wettest months, when mudslides can change a route. Lima has its sun from December to April, the time for the coast.
The trail closes, Puno dances
The Inca Trail closes every February. The Virgen de la Candelaria fills Puno through the first fortnight, at 3,830 m, so the altitude plan comes before the seats.
The dry Andes
Cusco has almost no rain from May to August: clear days, cold nights, the best walking. Every entry slot, train and good suite goes first.
Inti Raymi
Staged every 24 June from Qorikancha to Sacsayhuamán. Corpus Christi and Qoyllur Rit'i fall in late May or June.
Fiestas Patrias and the grey coast
Peru's national days on 28 and 29 July bring the peak of domestic travel. Lima has under 50 hours of sun a month, so we send you up, not to the beach.
The processions, then the light
The October processions of the Lord of Miracles draw hundreds of thousands through Lima. The low cloud lifts between mid-November and early December.
How we work in Peru.
Enquiry
You write once, in your language, with the dates, the party and how you arrive. Held under NDA from the first message.
The Brief
Ages and health at altitude, circuits and trains, hotels, tables, and any name that changes the security picture.
Proposal
One figure per line, confirmed before you pay. If a Machu Picchu date or a train is unworkable, the proposal says so, and says what works instead.
One Coordinator
One coordinator holds the whole country, so the hotel in Cusco and the driver in Lima hear of a change at the same moment.
Notice
We ask for at least seven days. Dry-season entry and trains go far earlier.
The Rest of South America
The same brief continues through concierge in Argentina, concierge in Colombia and concierge in Brazil.
“Peru rations its best things: by permit, by altitude, by the hour at the gate. Whoever decided early has the morning.”
What a luxury concierge in Peru costs.
There are two routes. Membership suits you if Peru is one journey among many: Client Access is free on application and annual tiers run from Guild at EUR 6,000 per year. A single engagement is quoted to the brief.
Hotels, trains, flights, guides and drivers are each quoted as their own line, one figure per line, confirmed before you pay. Close protection, where the brief needs it, is from USD 750 per day for one officer on twelve-hour cover; armed cover, where the law allows it, is quoted to the brief. See what a luxury concierge costs and membership tiers.
Send the dates.
Entry slots, the Hiram Bingham and the suites with added oxygen go first for the dry months of 2027. Tell us the dates, the party and who in it feels the altitude, and we reply with a plan and one figure per line, under NDA from the first message.

Three generations at altitude
The valley first, gentle circuits for those who need them, and a plan for the grandparent who feels it on the second night.
A honeymoon or an anniversary
Sanctuary Lodge at the gate, a private carriage on the Hiram Bingham and a last week in the Amazon, in the order the altitude prefers.
One contact for the whole programme
One brief from Lima to the Amazon, one proposal, one figure per line, and every change handled by the same person.
A fortnight built around the table
Maido, Central, Kjolle, Mérito and Mayta in Lima, then Mil at Moray.
A recognised name in a fixed place
Machu Picchu is one gate, one bus road and a set route. Movements timed, a discreet officer where the plan needs one, the camera kept at a distance.
Lima on business, then the valley
San Isidro's banks and embassies by day, a security-trained driver between them, and the valley once the meetings end.
Lima and Cusco first, then the routes worth the journey.
From Lima and Cusco we cover every route on this page, then Máncora on the north coast and Chachapoyas, with the falls at Gocta and the fortress of Kuélap, where access is confirmed before travel. We do not route you through the VRAEM or the border zones governments advise against.
More journeys on the same brief.
