How much notice we need
At least seven days for an ordinary itinerary. December to April is the Marrakech peak, and spring wedding season and the Christmas and New Year weeks book the best riads, guides and drivers out months ahead.
Do you provide drivers and vehicles?
Yes, and in Morocco it is usually the single most valuable thing we arrange. Chauffeured saloons and V-Class for the cities, 4x4 for the Atlas passes and the desert, and vetted drivers who know the specific route rather than the general direction.

Morocco is a driving country, and the vehicle decides more of the trip here than in almost any destination we work. Distances are longer than the map suggests, the good roads and the ordinary ones look identical on a screen, and the difference between a chauffeur who knows the specific route and one who knows the general direction shows up on the Tizi n’Tichka at dusk rather than in the brochure. For a family moving between Marrakech, the Atlas and the coast, transport is not a line item. It is the itinerary.
We arrange chauffeured saloons and Mercedes V-Class for city work and airport transfers, 4x4 vehicles for the mountain passes, the Agafay and the desert pistes, and multi-vehicle convoys for larger groups or weddings. Drivers are vetted, insured and English or French speaking as required, and they are briefed on the actual addresses rather than handed a hotel name. Where a route runs long, we plan fuel and timing against daylight, agree where it is sensible to stop, and put a second vehicle in the arrangement when group size or a remote leg justifies it. Riads, palace hotels and private villas
Morocco has three quite different kinds of luxury accommodation and they suit different trips. A palace hotel like La Mamounia or Royal Mansour delivers service, security and predictability but sits apart from the city. A riad puts you inside the medina behind an unmarked door, which is the reason to come and also the reason a car cannot reach you. A Palmeraie estate or a coastal villa gives space and privacy, with staff and a driver as part of the arrangement rather than an afterthought.
We book the specific room or riad rather than the category, because in Marrakech the difference between a courtyard-facing room and one over the lane is the difference between sleeping and not. For villas and estates we set up the staff side, chef, housekeeping, driver and a local fixer who can actually reach a plumber on a Friday, and we check the property and its access before you arrive rather than after.
The desert: Agafay, Merzouga and the luxury camps
Two very different things get sold as the Moroccan desert. The Agafay is stone desert an hour from Marrakech, which makes it a superb dinner, a sunset or an overnight without losing a day to the road. Merzouga and Erg Chebbi are the real Saharan dunes, seven or eight hours out or a flight to Errachidia, and worth the journey if you have the days for it. Zagora sits in between and is frequently sold as if it were Merzouga, which it is not.
Camp quality varies more than anything else in Moroccan travel. We use camps we have inspected, tell you plainly which ones justify the rate, and arrange the whole movement including the return leg, the timing against the heat, and the 4x4 handover where the tarmac ends. Balloon flights over the palm groves at dawn, dinners set up in the dunes and private astronomy are arranged as part of the same file.
Fes, the imperial cities and guides worth having
Fes is the oldest and least compromised of the imperial cities and the one most often done badly. The medina is genuinely labyrinthine, the tanneries and the medersas reward a guide who knows the craftsmen rather than the script, and the difference between an official guide and someone who attached himself at Bab Boujloud is the whole experience. Meknès, Volubilis and Rabat complete the imperial circuit, and each is a comfortable day with the right driver.
We use licensed guides we know personally, in English, French, Spanish or Arabic, and we match the guide to the interest rather than sending the same person to everyone. Craft workshops, private access to ateliers, and buying with a dealer who quotes a real price instead of a tourist one are arranged the same way.
The coast: Essaouira, Tangier, Chefchaouen and Taghazout
The Atlantic side is a different Morocco and often the better half of a two-week trip. Essaouira is three hours from Marrakech, walled, windy and easy, with serious seafood and a surf and kite scene. Taghazout and the Agadir coast are the surf and wellness end. Tangier has been rebuilt and now carries real business traffic alongside the tourism, and it is the crossing point to Spain. Chefchaouen is a half-day inland from Tangier and worth the detour if the timing works.
These are planned as legs of one programme rather than separate bookings: the same driver where the day allows it, hotels chosen for the specific room, and the road timing decided against the actual traffic rather than a map estimate. Where a trip continues into Spain from Tangier, the same named contact holds the file on both sides.
Weddings, celebrations and private aviation
Morocco is one of the largest destination wedding markets in the region and one of the more complicated to run, because the date is known months ahead to dozens of suppliers, the venue is announced to staff, and guests arrive in waves at a property with a single access point. The same is true of milestone birthdays and corporate incentive weeks, which Marrakech hosts constantly.
We work alongside your planner rather than over the top of them, and we cover the parts planners typically do not: guest transport across a city where taxis thin out late, arrival and departure sequencing at the airport, staff and supplier movement kept separate from guests, and protection where the profile calls for it. Private aviation into Menara, Casablanca or Rabat and VIP fast-track on arrival are arranged as part of the same programme.
Concierge, DMC or travel agency in Morocco?
The words get used interchangeably and they are not the same thing. A travel agency sells you a package someone else assembled. A DMC, a destination management company, builds ground programmes wholesale, usually for operators and corporate groups rather than for you directly. A luxury concierge works for the client rather than for the supplier: the itinerary is built around what you want, the costs are shown, and the same person stays with the file when something moves.
