Good to Know

Concierge & Security in the Emirates - Frequently Asked Questions

Do you handle royal and family-office protocol across the UAE?

Yes. We work for Gulf royal and family offices, resident and visiting UHNWI families and their protocol officers, with Arabic-speaking coordinators, female and male close protection officers, residence and yacht security, and full observance of cultural and religious preferences including Ramadan.

Can a family office, protocol office or assistant arrange this on the principal’s behalf?

Yes. Much of our Emirates work is arranged by a royal or family office, a chief of staff, an EA or a protocol officer. You hold one relationship; we coordinate concierge, transport and SIRA-licensed protection behind it, and keep the family’s details inside the operational team.

Do you provide Arabic-speaking and female close protection officers?

Yes. We field Arabic-, English- and Russian-speaking operatives, and female close protection officers for family and women-only requirements, with the cultural discretion expected across the Gulf.

What makes your Emirates service different?

We are headquartered in Dubai, giving unmatched local expertise, rapid response and established relationships with venues and authorities across the UAE, fully compliant with local regulations.

Can you combine security with concierge?

Yes. Our protection teams work seamlessly with our concierge division to coordinate yacht charters, desert experiences, helicopter transfers, reservations and hotels as one protected experience.

Do you cover Abu Dhabi and the northern emirates?

Yes. We cover Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah and the wider UAE, including Formula 1 and cultural events at Yas Island and Saadiyat.

Which hotels do you arrange?

Priority bookings and VIP arrivals at Burj Al Arab, Atlantis The Royal, Bulgari Resort, One&Only The Palm, The Lana, Emirates Palace and Waldorf Astoria, among others.

Can you arrange armed protection in the UAE?

Not directly, and never quickly. Armed details are executed only by licensed local partners - SIRA-regulated in Dubai, PSBD in Abu Dhabi - require government authorisation with a minimum 30-day lead time, and may be refused. In practice most briefs are met with unarmed SIRA-licensed officers, secure drivers and advance work, which is highly effective in the UAE’s environment.

When is the Emirates season?

October to April. The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix closes November on Yas Island, Meydan races from January to the Dubai World Cup in late March, and Art Dubai runs the same month. Summer moves indoors - suite rates fall and availability opens, which some principals use deliberately.

Should a private jet land at DXB or Al Maktoum?

It depends on the brief. DXB offers the Al Majlis VIP service and the shortest run into Downtown and DIFC; Al Maktoum (DWC) hosts the Jetex and ExecuJet FBOs with quieter slots and faster customs, but a longer drive. We weigh slot, ramp position and road time before the aircraft files.
