Sydney Harbour, and the water it is famous for
Most visitors experience a harbour city from the footpath. The correction is simple: get on the water. We arrange private yacht charter on Sydney Harbour with crew, from a morning under the bridge and around Shark Island to a full day through the Heads to Store Beach, lunch aboard and swimming off the stern.
Around it: a seaplane from Rose Bay to Cottage Point or Jonah’s at Whale Beach, the ocean pools at Bondi and Bronte early, Watsons Bay, Manly by fast ferry. New Year and the Boxing Day start of the Sydney to Hobart are the two dates when a private vessel stops being indulgence.

The argument for a private vessel is time, not luxury. It leaves when the light is right, moves site when the current turns, and lets a family with mixed swimmers stop early. Helicopter transfers and scenic flights over the ribbon reefs compress the day further.

Crewed or Bareboat
The Whitsundays is one of the few places where a bareboat week is genuinely practical. For a family we still recommend a crewed vessel: the skipper knows which anchorage stays flat overnight.
Getting There Without Losing a Day
Cairns and Hamilton Island take direct flights from Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, and Great Barrier Reef Airport puts guests in a buggy minutes after landing. The reef day is never the arrival day.
Uluru, Kata Tjuta and the Red Centre
Uluru is where an Australian itinerary stops being a holiday. Longitude 131 sits on a dune outside the national park, tented pavilions facing the rock, and it is the reason most guests give the desert three nights instead of one. The Mala walk at dawn with an Anangu guide, the base walk before the heat, Kata Tjuta and the Valley of the Winds, Kings Canyon for a fourth night.
After dark the desert does the work: Bruce Munro’s Field of Light, Wintjiri Wiru telling an Anangu story with drones and projection, Sounds of Silence under the Milky Way with a resident astronomer. We handle the flights into Ayers Rock Airport, the timing, and the cultural protocols that separate visiting Uluru from understanding it.

Melbourne is the counterweight to Sydney: laneways instead of a harbour, the NGV and a gallery calendar that runs all year, and a restaurant scene that argues with Sydney and often wins. Lifestyle management in Melbourne follows the same shape, with the events calendar closer to the centre of the year.
South of the city, the Mornington Peninsula gives hot springs, cellar doors and Jackalope with its Doot Doot Doot dining room. The Great Ocean Road runs past Bells Beach to the Twelve Apostles, and a private tour with a helicopter leg turns a nine-hour drive into a good day. Then Tasmania: Hobart and MONA, Bruny Island oysters, Wineglass Bay from Saffire Freycinet, Cradle Mountain for walkers.

Barossa Valley
An hour from Adelaide, home of Australian Shiraz, with old vines that predate most of the wine world. Seppeltsfield is the signature stop, where a tasting drawn from a fortified barrel laid down in your birth year is what people remember.
Margaret River
Three hours south of Perth, where surf breaks, karri forest and Cabernet share one stretch of coast. Leeuwin Estate and Vasse Felix anchor the region, the Cape to Cape coast fills the mornings, Cape Lodge is the base.
Yarra Valley and Mornington
An hour from Melbourne in two directions: the Yarra for Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and sparkling, with balloons at dawn; the Mornington Peninsula for cool-climate Pinot, hot springs and the coastal drive.
Hunter Valley
The easiest wine day from Sydney, and the region that made Australian Semillon a category of its own. Private cellar doors, a winemaker at the table rather than a host reading a script, helicopter at both ends.
Cool Climate and the Island Table
The Tamar Valley for sparkling and Pinot, Bruny Island for oysters and cheese, the east coast for rock lobster. Australian produce at its most concentrated, with short distances between good tables.
Sydney and Melbourne Dining
The two cities carry the hardest reservations in the country and the good rooms are small. We book ahead where the date allows, work the cancellation window where it does not, and place private chefs anywhere.
Kangaroo Island and the South Australian coast
Kangaroo Island answers the guest who wants Australian wildlife without a fence in the frame: sea lions at Seal Bay, koalas in the Flinders Chase gums, the Remarkable Rocks on their granite headland. Southern Ocean Lodge, rebuilt and reopened on its clifftop above Hanson Bay, is the reason many itineraries add three nights here.
Inland, Arkaba turns a former pastoral station in the Flinders Ranges into a five-suite conservancy where the guiding is the point. Adelaide gives the arrival city, the Barossa and McLaren Vale sit within an hour, and the Eyre Peninsula supplies the oysters the rest of the country queues for.

One trip designed end to end: research, route, houses, guides, transport, reservations and on-trip support. Scope and fee agreed in writing before any work starts.
A Season
A defined period rather than one trip: a summer on the harbour, a reef and desert run with business days attached, a family spending the southern summer here. The calendar is held continuously.
Retained
A standing arrangement for a family, principal or family office, with an agreed scope and a named senior contact. This is where membership makes the most sense.
Lead Times, Honestly Stated
Seven days is the notice we ask for. Shorter notice we look at case by case, but under 48 hours carries an urgency fee and cannot be guaranteed. No one puts a licensed officer in place in 24 hours. Armed services are exceptional, need a minimum 30-day lead time for authorisation, and may be refused.
What the First Call Covers
Dates, party and ages. What the trip should feel like. Fixed points such as a wedding or a tournament. Mobility, dietary and medical needs. Security posture. Budget range, stated plainly.
NDA by Default

Our model is published rather than whispered. Client Access membership is EUR 95 per month, and annual memberships run up to Nobility at EUR 63,000 per year. Licensed close protection starts from USD 900 per day (EUR 850 market base) for a single operative, with multi-officer teams quoted to the brief after assessment. Travel design is quoted against the specific programme, never sold as a fixed day rate.
What moves an Australian budget is easy to name: the tier of house, private charter against shared boats, private aviation against scheduled flights, the number of internal sectors, whether a guide is exclusive to your party, and the season.
