Milan Airport VIP Meet and Greet
Why the Milan arrival deserves a plan of its own.
Milan has three commercial airports and none of them is in Milan. Malpensa is the intercontinental gateway, a motorway run of about an hour to the north-west, with two terminals and the long walk from a wide-body gate to the kerb. Linate is small, close and busy, minutes from the centre on a good day. Bergamo Orio al Serio is the low-cost and private-aviation field to the east. Each one has its own fast-track arrangements, its own meeting points and its own way of losing a visitor who has just landed from New York.
Algoz arranges VIP meet and greet at all three: a representative inside the terminal at an agreed point, passport and customs fast track where the airport offers it, luggage handled, and a chauffeur or a licensed security driver at the door with the vehicle already positioned. For a protected principal the arrival is the most exposed moment of the visit, and it is planned as one.
- Met inside the terminal at Malpensa T1 or T2, Linate or Bergamo, with a name board or without, as you prefer
- Passport and customs fast track arranged where the airport provides it, lounge access on departure where available
- Luggage counted and carried, porters where the terminal allows, nothing left at a carousel
- Executive saloon, SUV or V-Class positioned at the agreed door, driver reachable from the gate
- Security driver option: a licensed close protection officer at the wheel for principals who need it
- Onward transfer to the city centre, Lake Como, Lake Maggiore, St. Moritz or anywhere the programme goes
What people ask about Milan airport VIP service.
Meet and greet or just a driver
A driver waits at the kerb or in arrivals. Meet and greet puts a representative inside the terminal, handles fast track and luggage, and walks you to a vehicle that is already positioned. The difference is the forty minutes between a wide-body gate and the car.
What fast track actually covers
Priority lanes at passport control and security where the airport provides them, sometimes a dedicated lounge, sometimes a dedicated exit. It is arranged per airport and per terminal and we tell you exactly what is included before you land.
What it costs
Meet and greet is quoted per arrival or departure, with the fast-track fee, the vehicle and the distance shaping the figure. A security driver is priced as close protection, from EUR 850 per day. One written figure before you commit.
How much notice
A few days for a standard arrival, a week for a security element, longer during Fashion Week and Salone del Mobile when the vehicles and the right drivers are committed early. Under 48 hours is possible with an urgency fee.
Private aviation
Milano Prime at Linate and Malpensa, and the Bergamo FBOs: vehicle to the aircraft where the handler allows it, otherwise at the terminal door. Crew and luggage handled on the same movement.
Who meets you
Our representatives and drivers speak English and Italian; Arabic, Russian, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Mandarin are available with notice, as are female representatives and drivers.
Airport services in Milan, arrival to departure.
Terminal Meet and Assist
A representative at the gate exit or the agreed point, fast track where offered, luggage handled, and a walk to the vehicle that has already been timed.
Departure Assistance
Collected from the hotel at the right hour for the right terminal, check-in and security fast track where available, lounge access arranged, and a representative until the gate if you want one.
Chauffeur to the City and the Lakes
Executive saloon, SUV or V-Class to the centre, to Lake Como, Maggiore and Garda, to St. Moritz and the Swiss resorts, or on to Turin, Verona and the coast.
Security Driver Arrivals
A licensed GPG officer at the wheel, the route chosen with alternatives, the arrival at the hotel handled as a protective movement, not a drop-off.
Transit and Connection Assistance
A long Malpensa connection made short: lounge, fast track and a representative who knows the terminal change, for principals passing through to the lakes or the Alps.
Delegations and Families
Several arrivals on different flights brought to one place, a fleet staged outside, children and luggage counted at every door, and one coordinator for the whole movement.
Malpensa: Terminal 1, Terminal 2 and the long walk
Malpensa is where the intercontinental flights land, and its scale is the problem to solve. Terminal 1 serves most legacy carriers across three satellites, Terminal 2 serves the low-cost operator, and a wide-body gate can be a fifteen-minute walk from passport control before the luggage hall is even in sight. Meet and greet at Malpensa means a representative at the right satellite, the fast-track lane where it applies, and a vehicle positioned at the agreed door rather than circling the kerb. The run to the city is about an hour on the motorway in normal traffic, longer on a Friday evening or in fog.
Executive transportation in MilanLinate: close, quick and easy to get wrong
Linate sits minutes east of the centre and handles most of the European business traffic. Its size is its charm and its trap: the terminal is compact, the arrivals hall is crowded at peak hours, and a driver who is not exactly where he said he would be is lost in a crowd of name boards. We agree the meeting point inside, handle the bag and walk you to a vehicle that is already at the door. From Linate to the Quadrilatero or Porta Nuova is a short run, and to Lake Como about an hour.
Concierge in MilanBergamo Orio al Serio: the low-cost field and the private side
Bergamo is marketed as Milan but sits an hour to the east, serves the low-cost carriers and a busy private aviation side, and is the natural choice for a jet arriving for Lake Como, Lake Iseo or Franciacorta. Meet and assist at Bergamo is arranged with the handler for private flights and in the terminal for commercial ones, with the vehicle positioned for the motorway west to Milan or north to the lakes.
Private jet charterFast track, lounges and what they are worth
Every Milan airport offers some form of priority service and none of them calls it the same thing. There are fast-track lanes at security and passport control, dedicated lounges, and at the private terminals a vehicle to the steps. We arrange what the airport actually provides, tell you in writing what it includes, and advise honestly when a fast-track fee is worth paying and when a well-timed arrival does the same job for nothing.
Luxury travelFrom the airport to Lake Como, St. Moritz and the north
A great many Milan arrivals do not stay in Milan. Lake Como is about an hour from Malpensa or Linate, Lake Maggiore is closer still on the Malpensa side, and St. Moritz is a three-hour mountain road through Chiavenna and the Maloja Pass, or by the Bernina from Tirano. The vehicle that collects you at the terminal is chosen for the destination: a saloon for the city, a V-Class for a family with luggage, an SUV with winter tyres for the passes between November and April.
Chauffeur Milan to Lake ComoWhen the arrival is a protective movement
For a principal with a profile the airport is the most predictable point of the whole visit, which is exactly why it is the most exposed. A security driver arrival is run differently: the representative inside, the licensed officer at the wheel outside, the route to the hotel chosen with alternatives, the hotel arrival handled by someone who has already spoken to the hotel's own security. In Italy that officer is a sworn GPG from a Prefettura-authorised institute, and the insurance and the licence are checked before the flight lands.
Bodyguard in MilanFashion Week, Salone del Mobile and the Grand Prix
Three times a year Milan's airports fill with people who all want the same hour and the same vehicle class. Fashion Week in February and September, Salone del Mobile in April and the Monza Grand Prix in early September are the weeks to book the arrival with the flights, because the good drivers and the right vehicles are committed early and the fast-track slots are finite. During show weeks we stage arrivals so that the walk from the gate ends at a car and not in a queue.
Fashion Week protection and conciergeHow a Milan airport programme is run
It starts with the flight number, not with the vehicle. We read the airline, the terminal, the arrival hour, the party and the luggage, then decide the meeting point, the fast-track option and the vehicle class. The representative and the driver receive the flight tracking and the plan the day before, the vehicle is positioned twenty minutes early, and you are told by message where to go when the doors open. If the flight is late, everything moves with it. One coordinator, from the booking to the hotel door.
Send the flight detailsWhen an airport arrival needs more than a driver.
Fashion Week
Arrivals from New York, Paris and the Gulf within the same two days. Vehicles and fast-track slots go early; book with the flights.
Salone del Mobile
Design week fills Malpensa and Linate with buyers and brands. The run to Rho and the city is longest at the hours everyone lands.
Monza Grand Prix
Paddock guests arrive from everywhere in one weekend. The airport is manageable; the road to Monza is the plan.
The lakes
Como, Maggiore and Garda from June to September: V-Class vehicles, luggage for a month, and the lake road timed against the Saturday change-over.
St. Moritz and the Alps
December to March arrivals bound for the Engadin and the Swiss resorts: winter tyres, the pass checked that morning, the vehicle chosen for snow.
November to February
Malpensa and Linate lose hours to fog on winter mornings. We track the flight, move the vehicle and hold the hotel rather than leave you waiting at a kerb.
Flight, meeting point, fast track, vehicle, door.
The flight
Airline, flight number, terminal, party and luggage. Private aviation: the handler and the FBO. Under NDA where the principal's name matters.
The plan
Meeting point inside the terminal, fast track and lounge where offered, vehicle class for the onward leg, and whether a security driver belongs in the picture.
The day before
Representative and driver briefed, flight tracked, vehicle positioned early, your message with the exact meeting point.
Arrival
Met inside, walked through, luggage handled, vehicle at the door. Delays absorbed without a phone call from you.
The transfer
To the hotel, the lakes or the mountains, by the right road at the right hour, with the hotel arrival already arranged.
Departure
Collected at the hour that suits the terminal, fast track and lounge on the way out, and the next arrival, in Rome or Paris, already planned by the same desk.
“The arrival is the first thing a visitor remembers about a city. It should be the car, not the queue.”
What Milan airport VIP meet and greet costs.
Meet and greet is quoted per arrival or departure, with the airport's own fast-track or lounge fee, the vehicle class and the distance of the onward transfer shaping the figure, and confirmed in writing on enquiry with no obligation. A chauffeured transfer to the city centre and a transfer to Lake Como or St. Moritz are different figures, and we tell you both.
A security driver arrival is priced as close protection, from EUR 850 per day, because the officer at the wheel is a licensed close protection professional. Under 48 hours' notice carries an urgency fee and no guarantee. Payment by card or transfer, invoiced by Algoz FZ-LLC. See also executive transportation in Milan.
Your US security detail cannot work in Milan. Ours can.
Why your home team stops at the border
Italy licenses personal protection through Prefettura-authorised security institutes under the TULPS, and the officer on the ground is a sworn Guardia Particolare Giurata. A US executive protection agent, however good, has no standing to work in Milan, cannot be insured for it, and would put the principal at risk of a stop that ends the visit. What we do instead: an officer licensed here, briefed by us against your itinerary, who works alongside your security director rather than replacing them.
Officers who work the way your US team does
English-speaking as standard, insured through the licensed institute that employs them, NDA-bound, and run to the same advance, arrival and departure discipline a US executive protection team expects. Your security director gets a named coordinator and a written plan before anyone arrives, and the officer reports to that plan, not around it.
Car plus officer, and a reply on your clock
Most US visits are best covered by one security-trained driver with an executive vehicle, adding a second officer for events, show weeks and evenings out. Rates are quoted in EUR, with an indicative USD figure alongside for visitors from outside Europe. A person reads every message and replies, usually within two hours and always within 24, on Eastern and Pacific hours as well as ours.
