Hiring a concierge in Turin: the questions people ask first.

What it is

What a concierge in Turin does

Books the hotel and the table, holds the car, opens the boutiques and the museums at the right hour, and plans the days out to the Langhe and the mountains. Most of the value is knowing who to call, and when.

Cost

What a concierge in Turin costs

Client Access is free on application, or a single engagement is quoted against the brief. Hotels, tables and tickets are passed through at cost with our fee shown separately, never folded into a package rate; the car and driver are quoted as their own line.

Lead time

How much notice we need

At least seven days for an ordinary stay. ATP Finals week, Artissima and the white truffle weekends in Alba fill the good rooms and tables early, so those dates want weeks rather than days.

Access

Can you get a table anywhere?

Most things, with notice. Where a date is closed to us, we say so.

Coverage

Where we cover

The centre from Piazza Castello to Porta Nuova, Via Roma and Via Lagrange, the Quadrilatero Romano, the Po and the hill, Lingotto and Venaria, Torino Airport at Caselle, the Langhe, the Roero and the Monferrato, and the Via Lattea ski area.

Security

Is protection included?

No. It is a separate service, delivered by vetted Italian officers and priced separately, from EUR 950 per officer per standard 12-hour day, with the driver and vehicle quoted separately. Many Turin briefs need only a security-trained driver. How our close protection works.

Torino, Arranged

A full concierge service in Turin, from the first call to the departure lounge.

Turin keeps its best addresses behind arcades and courtyard doors. It was the seat of the House of Savoy, whose palaces and villas in and around the city form a UNESCO World Heritage site, and it remains a working city with a serious appetite for food, wine, art and football. Visitors who arrive expecting Milan find something quieter: long arcaded streets, historic cafés, the Egyptian Museum, and the vineyards of the Langhe about an hour away by road.

Algoz runs the full service here. One senior contact holds the brief: the suite or the residence, the tables, appointments on Via Roma, private guides at the museums, cars and security-trained drivers, arrivals at Torino Airport, the days out to Alba, Barolo and the mountains, and close protection when the profile calls for it. Our Italy concierge desk works in Italian and English, with concierges who work in Russian and in Chinese.

Turin at a glance: the centre, the river and the hill

The centre of Turin is easier to read than most Italian cities. Piazza Castello is the hinge: Palazzo Madama in the middle, the Royal Palace behind it, Via Roma running south under its arcades to Piazza San Carlo and Porta Nuova station, and Via Po running east to Piazza Vittorio Veneto and the river. Across the Po, the Vittorio Emanuele I bridge leads to the Gran Madre church and the green hill, with the Monte dei Cappuccini looking back over the rooftops and, on a clear day, the Alps behind them.

We plan a stay on that map: a hotel within walking distance of the cafés and museums for a short visit, a residence for a family staying longer, and a car positioned where the restricted zones actually let it wait.

02 —

Where to stay in Turin: the five-star hotels and the residences

Turin’s five-star list is short, and worth checking hotel by hotel. The accommodation register kept by Turismo Torino lists these as five-star in the city: the Principi di Piemonte on Via Gobetti; the Grand Hotel Sitea on Via Carlo Alberto, home of the starred Carignano restaurant; its Royal Palace Luxury Suites on Via Cavour; and the Hilton Turin Centre on Via dell’Arcivescovado, officially inaugurated in September 2025. Several well-known hotels that price like five-stars are rated four, which matters to a travel office comparing categories.

For longer stays, a serviced apartment gives more room and privacy, and a house among the Langhe vineyards turns a wine weekend into a week. We book the specific room rather than the category, brief the hotel before you arrive, and vet the drivers, housekeepers and chefs who will hold a key.

03 —

Via Roma, Via Lagrange and the maisons under the arcades

Turin’s luxury corridor runs south from Piazza Castello: Via Roma, under the porticoes that make a rainy shopping day comfortable, and the parallel Via Lagrange and Via Carlo Alberto, along a route Turismo Torino describes as made for Savoy promenades. Louis Vuitton is at Via Roma 38 and Hermès at Via Roma 124, Prada is on Via Lagrange and Max Mara on Via Roma, and Moncler’s store locator lists Via Lagrange too. Bulgari lists a point of sale inside Rinascente on Via Lagrange. For watches, Rolex lists official retailers on Via Roma and on Via Cesare Battisti, and Musy Padre e Figli on Via Po traces its origins to a jeweller’s workshop of 1707.

The honest picture: several houses with flagships in Milan have no boutique in Turin. We check what is actually in the building before you travel and, where a piece is only in Milan, arrange that appointment within the same trip. The full service, from appointments to tax refunds and shipping, is set out on our page for a personal shopper in Turin.

04 —

Galleries, the Quadrilatero Romano and the outlet days

Away from the flagships, Turin shops in covered galleries and old streets. The Galleria Subalpina faces Piazza Castello and keeps the Baratti & Milano café; the Galleria San Federico opens off Via Roma. The Quadrilatero Romano holds the craftspeople and independent shops that Turismo Torino describes as the alternative to the big names, Via Po has the antiquarian booksellers and dealers, and Via Garibaldi is, in Turismo Torino’s words, one of Europe’s longest pedestrian streets. The Torino Outlet Village at Settimo Torinese is about twenty minutes by road.

Visitors resident outside the EU can buy free of Italian VAT, or claim it back, on any single invoice above EUR 70 for goods taken home in their luggage, provided the goods leave the EU by the end of the third month after the purchase. Invoices cannot be added together to reach the threshold, and the refund companies deduct their fee. We collect the invoices, keep the customs validation in order for the departure airport, and ship what should not travel in a suitcase.

05 —

Piazza San Carlo and the historic cafés

Turin’s cafés are institutions with dates over the door, and a morning among them is the best introduction to the city. Caffè Al Bicerin opened in 1763 opposite the Santuario della Consolata and still serves the bicerin, coffee, chocolate and cream in one small glass. Baratti & Milano, founded by two confectioners in 1858, has kept its café in the Galleria Subalpina since 1875. Caffè Mulassano has been on Piazza Castello since 1907, and Turismo Torino credits it with the invention of the tramezzino in 1926. Caffè Torino, founded in 1903, faces Piazza San Carlo, the arcaded square often called the city’s drawing room, under the equestrian statue of Emanuele Filiberto.

These rooms are small and full at weekends, so we time the visit to the day rather than the queue.

06 —

Chocolate, vermouth and the first Eataly

Two of Turin’s best-known exports began here, by their makers’ own accounts. Caffarel dates the gianduiotto, the gianduja chocolate wrapped one by one, to the Turin Carnival of 1865, a date food historians still debate. The house of Carpano says that Antonio Benedetto Carpano created the vermouth formula in Turin in 1786. And the first Eataly in the world opened in Turin on 27 January 2007, in a former vermouth factory at Lingotto.

A chocolate morning with a maker, a vermouth tasting before dinner, or an hour among the confectioners under the arcades is easy to add to a day already planned. Purchases go on to the hotel rather than into the car.

Dining in Turin

The tables worth having in Turin, and how far ahead to ask.

Michelin’s current selection for Turin and its surroundings, from the 2026 Guide Italia, lists nine one-star restaurants and none with two or three stars: Del Cambio, Carignano at the Grand Hotel Sitea, Vintage 1997, Condividere, Cannavacciuolo Bistrot, Piano35 and Andrea Larossa in the city, Dolce Stil Novo alla Reggia at Venaria Reale, and La Credenza at San Maurizio Canavese. A new edition normally follows each November and can change the list, so we check the current guide before we book against a star.

Turin’s pressure points are different from those of Milan or Paris. There is no single impossible room; there is a handful of good ones that fill at weekends, the historic cafés on a Saturday morning, and the Langhe restaurants on the truffle-season weekends, when Alba is full. A week’s notice covers most of the city. For the Langhe in October and November, give us more.

We book against the evening rather than the name: a quiet room for a business dinner, a table that suits children, or a chef at the residence when the party would rather stay in.

07 —

The Egyptian Museum, the Musei Reali and Palazzo Madama

The Museo Egizio, founded in 1824 by King Carlo Felice, is the oldest museum dedicated to the civilisation of the pharaohs, and in 2025 it welcomed 1,273,354 visitors, a record according to the museum’s own annual report. A timed entry at the start of the day and a private Egyptologist change the visit entirely. A few minutes away, the Musei Reali gather the Royal Palace, the Royal Armoury, the Royal Library, the Galleria Sabauda, the Chapel of the Holy Shroud and the Royal Gardens in one complex, and Palazzo Madama on Piazza Castello, built around the towers of the Roman gate, holds the city’s museum of ancient art.

The Mole Antonelliana, about 167 metres tall and the tallest masonry building in Europe when it reached that height in 1906, houses the Museo Nazionale del Cinema, with a panoramic lift to a terrace at 85 metres. We book the entries, pair each museum with the right guide, and ask for out-of-hours access wherever an institution offers it.

08 —

Venaria Reale, Superga and the Savoy residences

UNESCO inscribed the Residences of the Royal House of Savoy in 1997: 22 palaces and villas, eleven in central Turin and eleven around it. The grandest day out among them is the Reggia di Venaria, which received 565,378 visitors in 2025, by the Reggia’s own figures, and keeps its gardens, its galleries and a starred restaurant, Dolce Stil Novo alla Reggia, within the estate. On its hill east of the city, the Basilica of Superga, Filippo Juvarra’s church for Vittorio Amedeo II, is reached by road or, when it runs, by the historic Sassi to Superga rack tramway, and it holds a quiet place in Italian football as the site of the 1949 air disaster that killed the Grande Torino team.

We plan these as half days with a driver and a guide, so a morning at Venaria still leaves the afternoon for the city.

09 —

Lingotto, the Pinacoteca Agnelli and contemporary Turin

The old Fiat works at Lingotto are now a cultural quarter. On the roof, the Pinacoteca Agnelli’s gallery sits beside La Pista 500, the former test track planted as a garden and, by the foundation’s account, open to the public with an outdoor art programme since 2022. Below it, Lingotto Fiere hosts Artissima, Turin’s international contemporary art fair, at Oval Lingotto from 30 October to 1 November 2026, and the Salone Internazionale del Libro each May. The first Eataly is next door.

For Artissima week we arrange preview access where the fair’s own channels allow it, cars between the fair, the galleries and the dinners, and rooms booked before the city fills.

10 —

The Langhe: Barolo, Barbaresco and La Morra by private car

Five vineyard areas of the Langhe, the Roero and the Monferrato, with the Castle of Grinzane Cavour, form the Vineyard Landscape of Piedmont on the UNESCO World Heritage List, inscribed in 2014. The hills begin about an hour from Turin: Alba, La Morra and Barolo are each roughly an hour away by road, which makes a wine day from the city entirely comfortable and a weekend in the hills better still.

A private Langhe day with us is built around a driver who holds the whole day, two cellar visits booked by appointment rather than three rushed ones, lunch at a table chosen for the view or the kitchen, and a return before the evening traffic into Turin. Nobody who is tasting needs to drive, and purchases are shipped rather than carried.

11 —

Cellar visits by appointment, and what we will not promise

The cellar is where a Langhe day is won or lost. The producers worth the drive are working estates, and a good visit is arranged by appointment with the people who make the wine rather than walked into at a tasting counter. We ask for the visit that suits the guest: a cellar tour and tasting for a first visit, older vintages and a longer conversation for a collector.

We also say plainly when an estate does not receive visitors, or sells through importers rather than at the door. Bottles bought at an estate are invoiced by the estate at its own price; our fee is a separate line, and we arrange insured shipping home where the destination allows it.

12 —

White truffle season in Alba

From 10 October to 6 December 2026, the Fiera Internazionale del Tartufo Bianco d’Alba holds its 96th edition, and the weekends of the fair are the busiest of the Langhe year. The white truffle is shaved at the table over tajarin, the fine egg pasta of Piedmont, and the restaurants of Alba and the hills plan their whole autumn around it.

We book the tables, the rooms and the driver early in the season, arrange a morning in the woods with a truffle hunter where the weather and the season allow, and advise on buying: a truffle is chosen on the day, from a seller you can see, at the seller’s own price.

13 —

Juventus, the Allianz Stadium and the ATP Finals

Turin is a sporting city with two great stages. The Allianz Stadium, home of Juventus since 2011, seats 41,507, according to the club, and Juventus sells a combined museum and stadium tour for the days without a match. On match days we arrange tickets and hospitality where the club offers them, a car that arrives ahead of the crowd, and a route out that avoids the main flow.

Each November the Nitto ATP Finals bring the season’s top-ranked players to the Inalpi Arena. The 2026 Nitto ATP Finals in Turin run from 15 to 22 November, with seating raised to more than 13,500, and ATP and the Italian federation have confirmed Turin as host through 2027. Finals week is the most compressed week of the Turin year: rooms, drivers and dinner tables are committed months ahead.

14 —

Autumn into winter: Luci d’Artista and the festival weeks

From 23 October 2026 to 10 January 2027, Luci d’Artista, a City of Turin project, hangs its light installations across the streets and squares of the centre, 31 of them in this edition’s announced programme, and turns an evening walk under the arcades into a gallery. The same weeks hold Artissima, the ATP Finals and, from 24 November to 2 December 2026, the Torino Film Festival, which opens at the Teatro Regio.

It is the best season to see the city and the hardest to book in it. We plan the evenings as walks with a car shadowing rather than as drives, because the installations are best seen on foot, and keep the dinner bookings close to the route.

15 —

The Alps in winter: Sestriere and the Via Lattea

From Turin, a ski day can be a day trip. Sestriere is about 100 kilometres away, roughly an hour and a half by car, and with Sauze d’Oulx, Sansicario, Cesana, Claviere, Pragelato and Montgenèvre across the French border it forms the Via Lattea, usually described as some 400 kilometres of pistes. Olympic alpine skiing in 2006 was held at Sestriere, at the heart of the Via Lattea.

We arrange the car and a driver used to winter roads, instructors, equipment fitted before you arrive, lunch on the mountain, and a chalet or hotel for those who would rather stay up. When the weather turns, the plan turns with it.

16 —

Torino Airport, private aviation and the official executive service

Torino Airport at Caselle is 16 kilometres from the centre, about 25 to 30 minutes by car, and handled 5,006,169 passengers in 2025, its best year, according to the airport operator SAGAT. Business aviation uses a dedicated General Aviation terminal with eight aircraft aprons and four handling agents listed by SAGAT, and visiting private and air-taxi flights need prior permission (PPR) from SAGAT, filed by the operator or its handler at least two hours before arrival.

For scheduled flights the airport sells its own Torino Airport executive services: a multilingual meet and greet through check-in or passport control, a porter, Fast Track, the Piemonte Lounge and, on request, a car between the aircraft and the terminal, which the airport guarantees only when it is requested at least 48 hours ahead on working days. We book that service, meet you with the car at the kerb, and move luggage, staff and security on parallel tracks. Milan Malpensa, for long-haul connections, is roughly 1h30 to 2h00 by road.

17 —

Executive transportation and security drivers in Turin

Turin is easy to drive and easy to be fined in. The ZTL Centrale is closed to unauthorised cars from Monday to Friday, 07h30 to 10h30, other restricted zones keep their own hours, and cameras watch the bus lanes. Hire cars with driver, the NCC, are exempt from most of those restrictions, but only when the plate is registered with GTT, which manages the permits, and a car licensed outside the Turin metropolitan area needs its own occasional authorisation. Italian law ties hire with driver to an authorisation from an Italian municipality, and in 2022 the Consiglio di Stato upheld the refusal to register a car for an operator authorised only in another EU state.

So we book Italian-licensed cars whose plates are on the list, with vetted, insured drivers briefed on the actual entrances: saloons, V-Class vans for families, and a security-trained driver where the profile warrants it. By rail, Torino Porta Susa to Milano Centrale takes about 50 minutes, and Rome just over four hours. See executive transportation with Algoz.

18 —

Shopping, events and evenings with an officer beside you

Most Turin days do not need close protection, and we say so. The days that can are predictable: a jewellery or watch purchase on Via Roma and the walk back to the car, a match or a Finals session with a crowd at the gates, an evening across the centre during Luci d’Artista, and the arrival and departure at the hotel door, where luggage and attention are easiest to separate.

On those days one vetted officer, in plain tailoring, stays beside the principal or the family, has the car positioned before the boutique door opens, and keeps purchases out of sight between the counter and the hotel. The officer, the driver and the concierge work as one team.

Italian Legal Framework

Close protection in Turin, under Italian law.

Italian private security law is written around property, not people. Under article 134 of the TULPS (Royal Decree 773/1931), nobody may offer guarding or custody of property, or private investigations, without the Prefetto’s licence; in Turin that means the Prefettura di Torino, with the Questura di Torino supervising the sworn guards. Article 138 sets the requirements for the sworn guard, the guardia particolare giurata, who is approved by the Prefetto to guard property for a licensed institute or an owner. Italy has no bodyguard licence: as Italian legal commentary reads the law, the protection of a person is a police function, and a private protection officer works with an ordinary citizen’s powers.

In practice that means no identity checks, no searches without consent, and force only in lawful defence. A personal-defence carry licence under article 42 is granted by the Prefetto only on demonstrated need, for the holder’s own safety and for one year; it is not a licence to protect a client. Any armed request needs a minimum of 30 days, may be refused and is never guaranteed.

So the question in Turin is not who holds a bodyguard licence, because nobody does, but who stands behind the officer. Algoz arranges vetted Italian officers with Carabinieri, Polizia di Stato and military backgrounds, NDA-bound, unarmed and low profile, and works through Prefettura-licensed security institutes for any guarding of property: a residence, a house in the Langhe, valuables. Close protection in Italy starts from EUR 950 per officer per standard 12-hour day, with the driver and vehicle quoted separately. The same framework is set out in full on our pages for a bodyguard in Rome and a bodyguard in Milan.

Street Reality

What actually happens to visitors in Turin.

Turin is not a dangerous city for visitors, but it is a large one with ordinary big-city theft. The Il Sole 24 Ore crime index for 2026, built on Interior Ministry data for 2025, places the province of Turin fifth of 106 Italian provinces for total reported crime, at 5,615.8 reports per 100,000 residents; sixth for pickpocketing, at 398.7; sixth for street robbery, at 54.2; and third for bag snatching, at 61.8. The figures cover the whole province of some 2.2 million people, not the historic centre alone, and they count only what is reported.

The reading is practical. Bag snatching ranks higher than pickpocketing here, so the useful habits are simple: phone and bag on the side away from the road, care at tram stops and outside stations, and no walk back to the hotel with a visible purchase. Most visitors need nothing more than a car that waits where it should.

Beyond Turin

Onward to Milan, Lake Como, Monaco and Paris, on the same brief.

Many Turin programmes are one leg of a longer journey. Milan is about 50 minutes by high-speed train from Porta Susa to Centrale, close enough for a day of appointments in the Quadrilatero; its women’s fashion week runs from 23 February to 1 March 2027, and the Salone del Mobile from 13 to 18 April 2027. Lake Como and the Riviera, Monaco included, are natural continuations by car.

Paris is linked by direct trains through the Fréjus line, which returned in spring 2025 after the 2023 rockfall in the Maurienne and closed again for works in September and October 2026, so we check the current timetable before promising a seat. The same contact keeps the file across borders, with protection arranged under each country’s own rules: CNAPS-carded officers through our licensed partner in France, vetted Italian officers in Italy. Continue with our concierge in Milan, protection on Lake Como, a bodyguard in Monaco or our concierge in Paris.

What people actually search for

Concierge, lifestyle management or booking agency in Turin?

The terms describe different businesses. A booking agency is paid by the venue, so its recommendation carries an interest. Lifestyle management is an ongoing relationship rather than a single trip. A luxury concierge works for the client, with third-party costs passed through and the fee shown separately. In Turin the search results add a fourth trade: property managers who run short-let flats for their owners also call themselves a concierge. That is a service for landlords, not for visitors, and it is not this one.

People search all of it: concierge Torino, luxury concierge Turin, VIP concierge, private concierge Piedmont, Langhe wine tour private, Alba white truffle, ATP Finals VIP, personal shopper Turin, chauffeur Turin, bodyguard Turin, private jet Turin. They are parts of one job.

Excellence, Discreetly Delivered

How much does a concierge cost in Turin?

A concierge engagement in Turin is quoted against the brief rather than from a menu: the length of the stay, the size of the party, how many days need a car and driver, and whether the programme reaches the Langhe, the mountains or another city. You receive one written figure before anything is confirmed. For clients who return, Client Access is free on application and annual tiers run from Guild at EUR 6,000 per year, with the full benefit lists on the membership page.

Hotels, tables and tickets are passed through at cost, the car and driver are quoted as their own line, and boutiques and wine estates invoice you directly at their own prices; our fee is always a separate line. Close protection, where the brief needs it, starts from EUR 950 per officer per standard 12-hour day, with the driver and vehicle quoted separately; armed requests, multi-officer teams and peak dates such as Finals week are quoted to the brief. One brief. One team.

For Clients Arriving from the US

Your US security detail has no standing in Turin. Ours is local.

Licensing

Why your home team stops at the border

Italy has no bodyguard licence: the TULPS licenses the guarding of property through Prefettura-licensed institutes, not the protection of people. A US executive protection agent has no Italian standing in Turin, and no US permit allows anyone to go armed in Italy. What we do instead: a vetted Italian officer, briefed by us against your itinerary, who works alongside your security director rather than replacing them.

Standards

Officers who work the way your US team does

English-speaking as standard, NDA-bound, and run to the same advance, arrival and departure discipline a US executive protection team expects. Your security director gets a named coordinator and a written plan before anyone arrives, and the officer reports to that plan, not around it.

Practicalities

Car plus officer, and a reply on your clock

Most US visits are best covered by one security-trained driver with an executive vehicle, adding a second officer for events, show weeks and evenings out. Rates are quoted in EUR, with an indicative USD figure alongside for visitors from outside Europe. A person reads every message and replies within 24 hours, on Eastern and Pacific hours as well as ours; members and known clients hear back sooner.

Good to Know

Concierge in Turin: Frequently Asked Questions

What does a concierge in Turin do?

A Turin concierge holds the parts of a stay that do not run themselves: the right suite or residence, tables at the starred rooms and the historic cafés, appointments on Via Roma and Via Lagrange, private guides at the Egyptian Museum and the royal residences, cars and security-trained drivers, arrivals at Torino Airport, and the days out to the Langhe and the Alps. Algoz coordinates all of it through one senior contact, under NDA.

How much does a concierge cost in Turin?

An engagement is quoted against the brief: the length of the stay, the party, the days with a car and driver, and how far the programme travels. You receive one written figure before anything is confirmed. For repeat visitors, Client Access is free on application and annual tiers run from Guild at EUR 6,000 per year. Hotels, tables and tickets are passed through at cost, the car and driver are quoted as their own line, and our fee is a separate line.

How much notice do you need for Turin?

At least seven days for an ordinary stay. Shorter notice is looked at case by case, but anything under 48 hours is an urgency case, with additional fees and no guarantee. ATP Finals week, Artissima and the Alba truffle weekends need weeks, not days.

Which are the five-star hotels in Turin?

Turismo Torino’s accommodation register lists as five-star in the city the Principi di Piemonte, the Grand Hotel Sitea, its Royal Palace Luxury Suites, and the Hilton Turin Centre, officially inaugurated in September 2025. Several well-known hotels that price like five-stars are officially four-star.

Can you book Michelin-starred restaurants in Turin?

Yes. Michelin’s current selection, from the 2026 Guide Italia, lists nine one-star restaurants in Turin and its surroundings, including Del Cambio, Carignano at the Grand Hotel Sitea, Piano35 and Cannavacciuolo Bistrot, plus Dolce Stil Novo alla Reggia at Venaria. None has two or three stars, so most tables are achievable with a week’s notice. A new edition normally follows each November, so we check the current guide before booking against a star.

Can you arrange a private Langhe wine tour from Turin?

Yes, and it is one of the best days the region offers. Alba, La Morra and Barolo are each about an hour from Turin by road. We plan the day around one driver who holds it throughout, two cellar visits booked by appointment, lunch chosen for the guest, and a return before the evening traffic. Estates invoice their wine at their own prices.

When is white truffle season in Alba?

The Fiera Internazionale del Tartufo Bianco d’Alba runs from 10 October to 6 December 2026, its 96th edition. Its weekends are the busiest of the Langhe year. We can add a morning with a truffle hunter where the weather and the season allow, and advise on buying a truffle on the day at the seller’s own price.

Can you arrange tickets and hospitality for the ATP Finals in Turin?

We arrange the week around the tennis: tickets and hospitality through the channels that sell them, rooms, cars between the hotel and the Inalpi Arena, and dinners after the sessions. The 2026 Nitto ATP Finals run from 15 to 22 November, and Turin is confirmed as host through 2027. Finals week fills months ahead.

Can you arrange a Juventus match or an Allianz Stadium tour?

Yes. The Allianz Stadium seats 41,507, according to the club, and Juventus sells a combined museum and stadium tour for days without a match. On match days we arrange tickets and hospitality where the club offers them, a car that arrives ahead of the crowd, and a planned route out after the final whistle.

Do you offer personal shopping in Turin?

Yes. We arrange appointments on Via Roma and Via Lagrange, check what is actually in stock before you travel, hold a car for the day, collect the tax-free invoices and ship what should not travel in a suitcase. Boutiques invoice you directly at their own prices, and our fee is a separate line.

Which luxury boutiques are in Turin?

Louis Vuitton and Hermès are on Via Roma, Prada and Moncler on Via Lagrange, and Max Mara on Via Roma. Bulgari lists a point of sale inside Rinascente on Via Lagrange, Rolex lists official retailers on Via Roma and Via Cesare Battisti, and Musy Padre e Figli on Via Po is one of the city’s historic jewellers. Several houses with Milan flagships have no Turin boutique, so we check before you travel.

Can I shop tax-free in Turin?

Yes, if you live outside the EU. Goods taken home in your luggage can be bought free of Italian VAT, or the VAT reclaimed, on any single invoice above EUR 70, provided they leave the EU by the end of the third month after the purchase. Invoices cannot be combined to reach the threshold, and refund companies deduct a fee. We keep the paperwork in order for the departure airport.

Can you arrange private visits to the Egyptian Museum and the royal residences?

Yes. The Museo Egizio welcomed a record 1,273,354 visitors in 2025, according to the museum’s annual report, so a timed entry at the start of the day and a private Egyptologist make the real difference. The Musei Reali, Palazzo Madama and the Reggia di Venaria work the same way. We book the entries and guides, and ask for out-of-hours access wherever an institution offers it.

Do you handle arrivals at Torino Airport and private jets?

Yes. Torino Airport at Caselle is 16 kilometres from the centre, about 25 to 30 minutes by car. Visiting private flights use its General Aviation terminal and need prior permission from SAGAT at least two hours before arrival. For scheduled flights we book the airport’s own executive service, with meet and greet, Fast Track and the Piemonte Lounge, which the airport guarantees only when it is requested at least 48 hours ahead on working days, and meet you with the car at the kerb.

Do you arrange chauffeurs and executive transportation in Turin?

Yes. We book Italian-licensed cars with driver whose plates are registered with GTT for the restricted zones, so the car can lawfully reach the hotel during the morning ZTL hours, Monday to Friday 07h30 to 10h30. Security-trained drivers are available where the profile warrants it.

Can a car and driver from abroad work in Turin?

We do not book them as hire with driver. Italian law ties that service to an authorisation from an Italian municipality, and in 2022 the Consiglio di Stato upheld the refusal to register a car for an operator authorised only in another EU state. A car licensed elsewhere in Italy but outside the Turin metropolitan area also needs its own occasional authorisation for the restricted zones. We book cars that are already authorised.

Is there a bodyguard licence in Italy?

No. The TULPS licenses the guarding of property and private investigations under article 134, through institutes licensed by the Prefetto, and the sworn guard of article 138 guards property, not people. As Italian legal commentary reads it, protecting a person is a police function and a private officer has a citizen’s powers. What matters is who employs the officer and who answers for the detail.

Can you provide close protection in Turin?

Yes. Algoz arranges vetted Italian officers with Carabinieri, Polizia di Stato and military backgrounds, NDA-bound, unarmed and low profile, for shopping days, matches, Finals sessions, evenings and arrivals. Any guarding of property, a residence, a house in the Langhe or valuables, goes through a Prefettura-licensed security institute. Close protection is priced separately from the concierge service.

Can a protection officer in Turin be armed?

Almost never. In Italy a personal-defence carry licence under article 42 of the TULPS is granted only on demonstrated need, for the holder’s own safety and for one year, and it is not a licence to protect someone else. Any armed request needs a minimum 30-day lead time, may be refused and is never guaranteed. The right Turin detail is a trained unarmed officer working with a security driver.

How much does close protection cost in Turin?

Close protection in Italy starts from EUR 950 per officer per standard 12-hour day. The driver and vehicle are quoted separately, and armed requests, multi-officer teams, overnight cover and peak dates such as ATP Finals week are quoted to the brief, in writing, before anything is confirmed.

Is Turin safe for visitors?

Generally yes, with ordinary big-city theft. The Il Sole 24 Ore crime index for 2026, on 2025 data, places the province of Turin fifth of 106 provinces for total reported crime, sixth for pickpocketing and third for bag snatching. Keep phones and bags on the side away from the road, at tram stops and outside stations, and avoid walking back to the hotel with a visible purchase.

Can you arrange skiing in the Alps from Turin?

Yes. Sestriere is about 100 kilometres away, roughly an hour and a half by car, and with neighbouring resorts including Montgenèvre in France it forms the Via Lattea ski area. We arrange a driver used to winter roads, instructors, equipment fitted before you arrive, lunch on the mountain, and a chalet or hotel for those who would rather stay up.

Do your concierges in Turin speak Russian or Chinese?

Yes. Our Italy concierge desk has concierges who work in Russian and in Chinese, alongside Italian and English. Protection officers in Turin work in Italian and English.

Can the programme continue to Milan, Lake Como, Monaco or Paris?

Yes, on the same file and with the same contact. Milan is about 50 minutes by high-speed train from Porta Susa, and Lake Como and the Riviera, Monaco included, follow naturally by car. Direct trains to Paris run through the Fréjus line but were interrupted for works in autumn 2026, so we check the timetable before booking. Protection follows each country’s own rules.
