Morocco is the easiest luxury destination to book badly.

The palaces are real, the riads are extraordinary, the desert is two different places sold under one name, and the distances on the road are longer than the map says. A VIP trip here is not a tour with better hotels. It is a sequence of movements, arrivals, doors and rooms that somebody must have walked before you, with a driver who knows the Tichka, a guide who knows the craftsmen rather than the script, a house booked by the room rather than the category and, where your profile asks for it, licensed protection that reads as hospitality. Algoz runs that as one programme, from the business aviation terminal at Menara to the last evening on the coast.

We are a protection house that also runs the concierge side, which is why the villa, the driver, the guide, the camp and the officer are one plan rather than five suppliers. Send the dates, who travels and what the trip should feel like: you receive an itinerary with named houses, one written figure, and the same person on the file from the first message to the flight home.

  • Palace hotels, riads and private estates booked by the specific room or house, not the category
  • Private aviation into Menara, Mohammed V, Rabat and Tangier, with VIP fast track where it is worth paying for
  • Chauffeurs and 4x4 for the cities, the passes and the desert pistes, security-trained drivers where needed
  • Licensed private guides matched to the interest: craft, architecture, food, photography, children
  • Protection through partners authorised under Law 27-06, unarmed, invisible where it is not needed
  • One programme, one contact, one NDA, in English, French, Arabic, Russian or Spanish
Straight Answers

Luxury travel in Morocco: the first questions.

What it is

Concierge, not a tour operator

A tour operator sells a package someone else assembled. We build the trip around you, show every cost, book the specific room and the specific guide, and keep the same person on the file when a pass closes or a flight slips. The protection side, where you want it, comes from the same house.

Cost

What it costs

Membership from EUR 95 per month for Client Access, or a single journey quoted against the brief. Houses, drivers, camps, guides, flights and tables are passed through at cost with our fee shown separately, never buried in a package rate. Protection is quoted separately, from the market base.

Speed

How fast

At least seven days for an ordinary itinerary. Christmas and New Year, the spring wedding weeks and the best riads and camps book out months ahead, and the Sahara in the cool months needs the same. Under 48 hours is looked at case by case, with no guarantee.

Season

When to come

October to April for Marrakech, the Atlas and the desert; the Atlantic coast from Essaouira to Taghazout for the summer; Tangier and the north in the warm months; snow on the Atlas in January. Ramadan changes the clock of the whole country. We build the route around the month, not the other way round.

Security

Is protection included?

No, and it should not be bundled: it is a separate licensed service under Law 27-06, quoted separately. For most Moroccan trips a security-trained driver covers the real exposure. Where the profile needs an officer, he reads as part of the household. See close protection in Morocco.

Where

Where we cover

Marrakech and the Palmeraie, Fes and Meknes, Casablanca, Rabat, Tangier and Chefchaouen, Essaouira, Oualidia and the Atlantic, Agadir and Taghazout, Dakhla, the High Atlas, Ouarzazate, the Agafay and Merzouga. See concierge in Morocco.

What We Provide

Luxury and VIP travel services in Morocco.

Houses

Palace Hotels, Riads and Private Villas

La Mamounia, Royal Mansour, Amanjena, the Oberoi and the Four Seasons in Marrakech, Kasbah Tamadot in the Atlas, the great riads of Fes and the private estates of the Palmeraie: booked by the room, the suite or the house, with the staff side set up before you arrive. See villas and properties.

Desert

Private Sahara and Agafay Camps

Camps we have inspected, told apart honestly: the Agafay an hour from Marrakech for a dinner or a night, Merzouga and Erg Chebbi for the true dunes, Erg Chigaga for the remote ones. Private camps, the 4x4 handover where the tarmac ends, dinners in the dunes and astronomy under them.

Air

Private Aviation and VIP Fast Track

Jets into Menara, Mohammed V, Rabat, Tangier and Agadir with the ground side arranged regardless of who supplied the aircraft; helicopters to the Atlas, the coast and the desert where they earn their place; VIP fast track at the gateways where it is worth paying for. See private jet and helicopter.

Road

Chauffeurs, 4x4 and Security Drivers

Morocco is driven, and the driver decides more of the trip than any hotel. Saloons and V-Class for the cities, 4x4 for the passes and the pistes, security-trained drivers through licensed partners where the profile asks. See executive transportation in Morocco.

Guides

Licensed Private Guides and Access

Guides we know personally, matched to the interest rather than sent to everyone: the craftsmen of Fes, the architecture of Marrakech, the food, the photographs, the children. Ateliers opened by appointment, early entry before the gates open, a dealer who quotes a real price.

Occasions

Weddings, Honeymoons and Celebrations

The wedding weekend in Marrakech or the Agafay, the honeymoon from a riad to a dune camp to the coast, the milestone birthday in a Palmeraie estate: planned with your planner and covered where planners stop, at the gate, the transfers and the late departures. See destination weddings.

01 —

Marrakech from the inside

Early entry to the Jardin Majorelle and the Yves Saint Laurent museum before the gates open, the Medersa Ben Youssef without the crowd, dinner at Dar Yacout or La Grande Table Marocaine at Royal Mansour, souk buying with a trusted dealer rather than a tout, and the ateliers of Sidi Ghanem opened by appointment. A riad behind an unmarked door or a suite at a palace, chosen for the trip you are actually making, and a driver who knows exactly where the car can wait while you walk the last lane. For the days beyond the walls: lunch in a Berber village in the Imlil valley, sunset on the Agafay, the Ourika waterfalls before the coaches. See concierge in Marrakech.

02 —

The Sahara, done honestly

Two very different things are sold as the Moroccan desert. The Agafay is stone desert an hour from Marrakech: a superb dinner, a sunset, one night, without losing a day to the road. Merzouga and Erg Chebbi are the real Saharan dunes, a long day by road through the Tichka and the Dades or a flight to Errachidia with a 4x4 at the other end, and Erg Chigaga beyond Zagora is the remote version. Camp quality varies more than anything else in Moroccan travel, so we use camps we have inspected and say plainly which justify the rate. Balloon flights at dawn, private dinners in the dunes and astronomy are arranged on the same file, with the timing set against the heat and the return leg planned before the outbound one.

Fes, Meknes and the imperial cities

Fes is the oldest and least compromised of the imperial cities and the one most often done badly. The medina is genuinely labyrinthine, the tanneries and the medersas reward a guide who knows the craftsmen rather than the script, and the difference between a licensed guide and someone who attached himself at Bab Boujloud is the whole experience. We use guides we know, in English, French, Spanish, Arabic or Russian, book the riad by the courtyard rather than the category, and run Meknes, Volubilis and Rabat as comfortable days with the right driver. The Middle Atlas road from Marrakech, by Beni Mellal or by Azrou and the cedar forests, is a journey in itself when the days allow. See concierge in Fes.

The Atlantic: Essaouira, Oualidia, Taghazout and Dakhla

The Atlantic side is a different Morocco and often the better half of a two-week trip. Essaouira is three hours from Marrakech, walled, windy and easy, with serious seafood, the Gnaoua festival and a surf and kite scene. Oualidia has the lagoon and the oysters, Taghazout and the Agadir coast are the surf and wellness end, and Dakhla, far to the south, is one of the great kitesurfing lagoons in the world with its own flights. We plan these as legs of one programme, with the villa chosen for the wind, the board bag counted at every door and a private instructor on the water where you want one. See private sports instructors.

05 —

Tangier, Chefchaouen and the north

Tangier has been rebuilt and now carries real business traffic alongside the tourism: the marina, the corniche, the Kasbah quarter like Marrakech in miniature, and the crossing to Spain by ferry or air that lets a trip continue into Andalusia the same day. Chefchaouen is a half-day inland and worth the detour when the timing works, Tetouan and the Rif coast are the classic day out, and Asilah is the quiet alternative on the Atlantic. Spanish is genuinely useful here and we staff for it. Where the programme continues into Spain, the same named contact holds the file on both sides of the strait. See concierge in Tangier.

Concierge in Tangier
06 —

The High Atlas: Kasbah Tamadot, Imlil and Toubkal

An hour from Marrakech the road climbs into the High Atlas, to the Asni valley and Kasbah Tamadot above it, the Berber villages of Imlil, the trail toward Mount Toubkal and, in winter, the small ski station at Oukaimeden. We plan the mountain as a day, a night or a trekking week with licensed mountain guides, mules and a security driver on the switchbacks, and the kasbah or the lodge booked by the room. The Ourika valley is the short run for a lunch by the river; the Tichka is the pass to Ouarzazate and the kasbahs of Ait Benhaddou beyond. See escape experiences.

07 —

Private aviation and the VIP arrival

The trip begins at the aircraft door. Private aviation into Marrakech Menara, Casablanca Mohammed V, Rabat, Tangier or Agadir is arranged as part of the same programme, and we handle the ground side regardless of who supplied the aircraft: the business aviation terminal, the vehicle airside where the airport allows it, the luggage counted, the fast track for scheduled flights where it is worth having in high season. Helicopters to the Atlas, the Agafay or the coast are used where they earn their place rather than for the photograph. See private jet and helicopter.

Protection that reads as hospitality

Morocco is safe, and it would be dishonest to sell protection by suggesting otherwise. What costs people here is practical: dense medina crowds where a group separates in seconds, persistent commercial approaches, long road transfers where the vehicle decides the day, and a wedding whose date is known to dozens of suppliers. Where your profile asks for more than a security-trained driver, the officer comes through a partner authorised under Law 27-06, unarmed as the law requires, dressed for the setting rather than the role, and briefed by the same coordinator who runs the villa and the driver. See bodyguard in Morocco.

Close protection in Morocco
Morocco by Season

When each Morocco is at its best.

October to April

Marrakech, the Atlas and the desert

The cool months: the riads and palaces at their best, the desert reachable and comfortable, and the Atlas clear. The season everyone wants, so the houses book out months ahead.

December and January

The festive weeks

Christmas and New Year in Marrakech and the Palmeraie, snow on the Atlas, the Marrakech film festival in late autumn. Reserved in the summer before.

Spring

Weddings and gardens

The wedding weekends in Marrakech and the Agafay, the gardens at their best, the roses of the Dades valley in May. Camps and villas go early.

Ramadan

A different rhythm

The country slows by day and comes alive after sunset; palace restaurants serve as usual and a private iftar is one of the best evenings we arrange all year. We re-time the trip rather than fight the month.

Summer

The Atlantic

Heat in Marrakech and Fes pushes the trip to Essaouira, Oualidia, Taghazout and the north: villas for the wind, surf and kite instructors, oysters in the lagoon, Tangier and Chefchaouen in the warm months.

All year

Business, golf and the residence

Casablanca and Rabat on business, golf at Royal Golf Dar Es Salam, Assoufid and Al Maaden, a house in the Palmeraie kept between visits, and the relationship standing before you need it.

How It Works

Brief, itinerary, houses, movements, one contact.

Step 01

The brief, under NDA

The dates, who travels, what the trip should feel like, the interests, the diets, the children, and whether the profile needs a driver or an officer. Held under NDA before a name is shared.

Step 02

The itinerary

Named houses, the specific rooms, the desert chosen honestly, the guides matched to the interest, the days on the road timed against daylight, and the alternatives for a closed pass.

Step 03

The houses

The palace, the riad, the estate or the camp booked and checked, the staff side set up, the access walked before you arrive.

Step 04

The movements

The aircraft, the terminal, the fast track, the chauffeur, the 4x4, the helicopter where it earns its place, and the protection detail where the profile asks.

Step 05

The journey

The car where it said it would be, the guide who knows the craftsman, the camp that justified the rate, nothing announced, and the file adjusted the day something moves.

Step 06

One contact

One coordinator for the houses, the drivers, the guides, the aircraft and the protection, in your language, from the first message to the flight home.

Excellence, Discreetly Delivered

“Morocco rewards the traveller who has somebody local, honest and discreet on the file. Everything else is a brochure.”

Algoz Group
Indicative Investment

What luxury travel in Morocco costs with Algoz.

Two routes. Membership from EUR 95 per month for Client Access suits anyone travelling to Morocco more than once a year or wanting the relationship standing before they need it; a single journey is quoted against the brief instead. In both cases the houses, drivers, camps, guides, flights and tables are passed through at cost with our fee shown separately, so you always see which part is ours and which is the supplier. Nothing is bundled into an opaque package rate.

Protection is a separate licensed service and is quoted from the close protection market base; a security-trained driver is often the honest answer and we say so. See membership, concierge in Morocco and close protection in Morocco.

Winter 2026 and Spring 2027

Send the dates and who travels.

The palaces, the riads, the camps in the cool months and the wedding weekends in Marrakech are reserved months ahead, and the guides and drivers worth having with them. Tell us the dates, the party and what the trip should feel like, and we reply with an itinerary, named houses and one figure, under NDA from the first message.

Who Books It

Who books luxury travel in Morocco with us.

Families

A riad, a villa and the desert

A house in the medina or the Palmeraie, a V-Class and a 4x4, a guide the children follow, one night under the dunes, and a driver who knows which lane the luggage goes down.

Honeymoons

From a riad to the dunes to the coast

Marrakech, a private camp on the Agafay or at Merzouga, Essaouira or Oualidia for the sea: sequenced so the road never eats a day, with the room chosen for the view.

Public figures

Morocco without the photograph

A house entered without being seen, off-peak hours at the obvious places, a guide who moves a group out of a lane rather than through it, and an officer who reads as staff.

Executives

A board week or a retreat

Casablanca on business, a kasbah in the Atlas for the retreat, the helicopter where it earns its place, and the drivers who hold a diary across a country.

Celebrations

The wedding and the birthday

The weekend in Marrakech or the Agafay: the venue, the guest houses, the fleet, the gate, and the late departures, planned with your planner.

Sport and wellness

Golf, surf, kite and the mountain

Golf at Royal Golf Dar Es Salam and Assoufid, surf and kite at Taghazout and Dakhla, trekking toward Toubkal, hammams and a private instructor where you want one.

Where We Deliver

All of Morocco, from the strait to the Sahara.

Marrakech and the Palmeraie, Fes and Meknes, Casablanca, Rabat, Tangier, Chefchaouen and the north, Essaouira, Oualidia, Agadir, Taghazout and Dakhla on the Atlantic, the High Atlas, Ouarzazate, the Agafay, Merzouga and Erg Chigaga. The same house runs concierge in Morocco, executive transportation in Morocco, close protection in Morocco and private travel worldwide.

Good to Know

Luxury and VIP Travel in Morocco: Frequently Asked Questions

What does VIP travel in Morocco actually include?

The houses booked by the room rather than the category, private aviation and the ground side at the airport, chauffeurs and 4x4 with drivers who know the specific road, licensed private guides matched to your interests, the desert chosen honestly between the Agafay and the Sahara, the tables and the ateliers opened by appointment, and, where your profile needs it, licensed protection that reads as hospitality. One programme, one contact, one NDA.

Which are the best luxury hotels in Marrakech?

La Mamounia and Royal Mansour are the two great houses of the city, Amanjena, the Oberoi and the Four Seasons sit beyond the walls with space and gardens, and the finest riads put you inside the medina behind an unmarked door. They suit different trips and we will tell you which fits yours; we book the specific room or riad, because a courtyard-facing room and one over the lane are not the same product.

Is a riad or a palace hotel better?

A palace gives service, security and predictability but sits apart from the city. A riad puts you inside the medina, which is the reason people come to Marrakech and also the reason a car cannot reach you and the walk with luggage is real. A Palmeraie estate or a coastal villa gives space and privacy with staff and a driver built in. Most of our two-week programmes use two of the three.

Can you arrange a luxury desert camp?

Yes, and we are precise about what people mean. The Agafay is stone desert an hour from Marrakech, ideal for a dinner, a sunset or one night. Merzouga and Erg Chebbi are the real Saharan dunes, a long day by road or a flight to Errachidia; Erg Chigaga beyond Zagora is the remote version. Zagora itself is often sold as if it were Merzouga and it is not. We use camps we have inspected and say plainly which justify the rate.

Do you arrange private jets and helicopters in Morocco?

Yes. Private aviation into Menara, Mohammed V, Rabat, Tangier and Agadir with the ground side handled regardless of who supplied the aircraft, helicopters to the Atlas, the coast and the desert where they earn their place, and VIP fast track for scheduled flights where it is worth paying for in high season. We tell you when it is not.

Can you provide security during a luxury trip in Morocco?

Yes, as a separate licensed service through partners authorised under Law 27-06 by the Ministry of the Interior, unarmed as the law requires for private clients. For most trips a security-trained driver covers the real exposure; where the profile asks for an officer, he dresses for the setting and reads as part of the household. Morocco is safe and we never sell protection by suggesting otherwise.

When is the best time for a luxury trip to Morocco?

October to April for Marrakech, the Atlas and the desert, with the festive weeks and the spring wedding weeks booked months ahead. Summer belongs to the Atlantic: Essaouira, Oualidia, Taghazout and the north. January can bring snow above the Atlas villages, and Ramadan changes the rhythm of the whole country, which we plan around rather than against.

Can you plan a honeymoon in Morocco?

Yes, and it is one of the trips the country does best: a riad or a palace in Marrakech, a private camp on the Agafay or under the dunes at Merzouga, and the sea at Essaouira or Oualidia, sequenced so the road never eats a day and the room is chosen for the view. Private dinners, a balloon at dawn, a hammam booked privately and the transfers that make it feel seamless are on the same file.

Do you organise private guides?

Yes, and it is where the quality gap is widest. Fes in particular rewards a guide who knows the craftsmen rather than the script, and the difference between a licensed guide and someone who attached himself at a city gate is the whole experience. We use guides we know personally, in English, French, Spanish, Arabic or Russian, matched to the interest rather than sent to everyone.

How much does a luxury trip to Morocco cost with Algoz?

Membership from EUR 95 per month for Client Access, or a single journey quoted against the brief. Houses, drivers, camps, guides, flights and tables are passed through at cost with our fee shown separately, never buried in a package rate; protection is quoted separately from the market base. You receive one written figure before you commit, with no obligation.

How much notice do you need?

At least seven days for an ordinary itinerary. The festive weeks, the spring wedding weekends, the best riads and the desert camps in the cool months book out months ahead, and we ask for the same. Under 48 hours is looked at case by case, with an urgency fee and no guarantee.

Can the trip continue into Spain or the Gulf?

Yes. From Tangier the trip continues into Andalusia by ferry or by air with the same named contact on both sides of the strait, and from Marrakech or Casablanca to Dubai, Riyadh or Europe with the same house running the next leg. See our pages on Marbella, Dubai and private travel.

Do you work with families with children?

Yes, and it changes the plan: a riad with a courtyard the children can use, a guide they will follow, a desert night timed for them, the pool at the villa, a private instructor on the water at Taghazout, and a diet sheet for every child. Female officers are available where a family wants a woman in close proximity.

Why Algoz rather than a luxury tour operator for Morocco?

Because a tour operator sells a package and stays in another country when the pass closes. Algoz builds the trip around you, books the specific room and the specific guide, shows every cost, puts a driver who knows the road and, where you want it, licensed protection on the same file, and keeps one person in your language on it from the first message to the flight home.

Discreet, Integrated, Trusted

Executive concierge in Morocco with protection woven in.

Assistants, chiefs of staff and family offices arranging a principal’s stay work with one team that handles access, reservations, transport and security together - not a switchboard of separate vendors. Brief us once; we anticipate the rest.

Access is real and discretion is absolute: NDA-backed, OPSEC-aware planning, low-profile delivery, multilingual operatives, and protection that integrates so naturally it is never intrusive. It is why UHNWI and HNWI clients, royal households and the advisors who serve them treat Algoz as a trustworthy single point of contact in Morocco.
