The season we plan around
Read This First

Sardinia is a season, a coast and a very short list of houses.

From late May to the end of September the Costa Smeralda becomes one of the most concentrated luxury seasons in Europe: a hundred villas that matter, a marina full of yachts, a handful of beach clubs and restaurants where the table is the whole evening, and an airport at Olbia that receives everyone at once. Outside that strip, Sardinia is a large island with empty coasts, the Maddalena archipelago, the south around Chia, and roads that take longer than the map suggests. A concierge here is the person who holds the house, the boat and the table through August and knows the island when you want to leave the coast.

Algoz is a protection house that runs concierge, so the villa, the route and the officer are one plan and the week does not become a story. Send the dates and the party: one written proposal, one figure, under NDA from the first message.

  • One coordinator in the north of the island, in your language, who answers through the season
  • Villas on the Costa Smeralda, in Porto Rotondo and the south, opened and staffed before you land
  • Yacht shore support: tenders, berths, provisioning, the car at the quay, the crew looked after
  • Olbia met airside, helicopters to the villa, drivers who know the summer traffic
  • Tables, beach clubs and the nights in Porto Cervo booked by a name the door knows
  • Discreet close protection on the same brief when the guest list or the name needs it
Straight Answers

Hiring a concierge in Sardinia: the first questions.

What it is

What a concierge in Sardinia does

Finds and opens the villa, staffs it, meets you at Olbia, holds the boat, the tables and the beach club through the stay, runs the shore side for a yacht, and takes the call when the mistral closes the sea, the road is blocked for a regatta or the house loses its water.

Cost

What a concierge in Sardinia costs

Membership from EUR 95 per month at Client Access, or a single engagement quoted to the brief. Villas, boats, staff and drivers are passed through at cost and our fee is a separate line. No commission from the houses, no marked-up supplier bill.

Lead time

How much notice we need

At least seven days outside the season. For July and August the villas, the berths and the beach clubs are taken months ahead and the best houses are reserved for the following summer before the current one ends; we open summer 2027 enquiries now. Under 48 hours carries an urgency fee and no promise.

Villas

Villa, hotel or yacht?

All three, and honestly: a villa with staff for a family, a suite at one of the four or five hotels for a couple, a yacht with a shore team for those who arrive by sea. We say which suits the party and the security picture before you commit.

Coverage

Where we cover in Sardinia

Porto Cervo, Cala di Volpe, Romazzino, Liscia di Vacca and the whole Costa Smeralda; Porto Rotondo, Baja Sardinia and Arzachena; La Maddalena and Caprera by boat; Olbia and Golfo Aranci; Alghero and Stintino in the north-west; Cagliari, Chia and the south.

Security

Is protection included?

No, it is a separate licensed service quoted to the brief, and the Costa Smeralda in August is where a discreet officer, a swept villa and a driver who knows the back road earn their keep. See bodyguard in Sardinia.

What We Cover

Sardinia concierge services.

Stay

Villas, Residences and Suites

Houses on the Costa Smeralda, in Porto Rotondo and on the quieter coasts, with their own cove or a path to the sea, and suites at the few hotels that matter. Opened, cooled, provisioned and staffed before the first night.

House

Villa Staff

A cook or a private chef for the family, housekeeping, a butler for the dinners, a nanny who speaks the children's language, a driver attached to the house and a standing presence at night. Vetted, briefed and under NDA.

Sea

Boats, Tenders and the Archipelago

A tender from the villa jetty, a day boat to the Maddalena islands, Spargi and Budelli, a crewed charter for a week, and the berth in Porto Cervo or Porto Rotondo that is impossible in August unless it was held in spring.

Move

Olbia, Helicopters and Drivers

Met airside at Olbia, a helicopter to the villa or a car on a road that doubles its time in July, drivers through the season, and the private aviation that brings the family in and out. See private jet charter.

Reserve

Tables, Clubs and Nights

Dinner at the restaurants everyone wants, lunch at the beach clubs that take reservations, the club nights in Porto Cervo and the quieter tables in Arzachena and Olbia that the island keeps for itself.

Protect

Close Protection

Discreet officers through licensed Italian partners for a recognised family, a yacht with a name, a villa that needs a presence at night or a celebration with a guest list. Quoted separately, planned on the same brief.

01 —

Porto Cervo and the Costa Smeralda

The Piazzetta, the marina, the Yacht Club and the hotels at Cala di Volpe, Pitrizza and Romazzino: the strip where the season actually happens and where everything worth having is a reservation. We hold the villa, the berth, the table and the beach club together, and a driver who knows the one road and its summer traffic. See concierge in Porto Cervo.

Concierge in Porto Cervo
02 —

Porto Rotondo, Baja Sardinia and Arzachena

The older money and the quieter houses: Porto Rotondo with its own marina and square, Baja Sardinia and its beach clubs, the Arzachena hills where the larger estates sit back from the sea. Close enough to Porto Cervo for the nights, far enough for the days. The house, the staff and the boat are run from the same brief.

Villas and properties
03 —

La Maddalena, Caprera and the archipelago

The reason the yachts are here. Spargi, Budelli, Santa Maria and the coves of Caprera are a day by boat from the coast, with lunch on board or ashore and the water everyone photographs. We arrange the boat, the skipper, the lunch and the timing that avoids the ferry traffic, and a tender that gets you back for dinner.

Yacht charter
04 —

Olbia, Golfo Aranci and arrivals

Olbia receives the whole season through one airport and one marina. The private aviation terminal, the helicopter pad, the car that is waiting rather than circling and the driver who takes the back road in August are where the holiday begins or fails. We meet airside, move luggage separately and get the family to the house before the traffic does.

Private travel
05 —

Alghero, Stintino and the north-west

The other Sardinia: Alghero's Catalan old town, the beach at La Pelosa, Capo Caccia and the Riviera del Corallo, with its own airport and a different, quieter crowd. For families who want the island without the Costa Smeralda season, or a day away from it, we run the same house and the same standard here.

Concierge in Italy
06 —

Cagliari, Chia and the south

Cagliari for the city, the Poetto and the airport; Chia and Santa Margherita di Pula for the long beaches, the dunes and the resort villas of the south. Two and a half hours from the Costa Smeralda by road and a different island in character, with its own tables, boats and drivers that we hold from the same brief. See protection across Sardinia.

Protection in Sardinia
Sardinia by Season

The calendar the coast is booked around.

May and June

The opening

The villas open, the sea is warm by June, the clubs begin and the island is still easy. The weeks we recommend to families who can choose.

July

The season proper

The marina fills, the beach clubs take names, the restaurants run two sittings and the helicopter becomes the sensible way from Olbia. Planned, it is the best month.

August

Ferragosto

Italy on the island. The villa with its own cove, a tender, a driver on the back roads and tables booked in spring make August a pleasure; nothing else does.

September

Regattas and the best sea

The Yacht Club's regatta weeks bring the big sailing yachts to Porto Cervo, the crowds thin, the water is at its warmest and the evenings are long. The month for those who sail or want to.

Shoulder months

April, May and October

Open hotels, empty beaches, golf at Pevero and the island to yourself. For a quiet residence, a family at half term or a discreet meeting, the right time.

Winter

A house kept

The coast closes and the houses are watched. We keep a client's villa opened, maintained, inspected and ready, so that the first week of the summer is not spent fixing it. See property management.

The Engagement

How we work in Sardinia.

Step One

Enquiry

You write once, in whichever of our languages, with the dates, the party, how you arrive and what the weeks should feel like. Held under NDA from the first message.

Step Two

The Brief

A short written brief: the house or the yacht, the staff, the boat days, the dinners, the children, and any name or guest list that changes the security picture.

Step Three

Proposal

One written proposal with the arrangements and one figure. The villa, the boat, the staff and the tables at cost; our fee a separate line; nothing discovered on the island.

Step Four

On-island Lead

One named coordinator in the north of Sardinia who answers through the season, speaks to the houses and the marina in Italian and to you in your language.

Timing

Response Times

We ask for at least seven days. The villas and berths for July and August are taken months ahead; under 48 hours carries an urgency fee and no promise.

Beyond

The Rest of Italy

The same brief continues through concierge in Italy: Rome, Milan, the lakes, the Amalfi coast, Sicily, and the yachts that move between them.

Excellence, Discreetly Delivered

“On the Costa Smeralda everything is available and nothing is free on the day. The house, the berth and the table were decided in spring by whoever was paying attention.”

Algoz Group
Indicative Cost

What a concierge in Sardinia costs.

There are two routes. Membership from EUR 95 per month at Client Access is the better one if you come to the island every summer or keep a house here; annual tiers run from Guild at EUR 6,000 per year and a dedicated personal agent comes with Elite. A single engagement is quoted to the brief: the house or the yacht, the dates, the staff, the boat days and whether protection is part of the stay.

The villa, the boat, the staff, the helicopter and the tables are invoiced at cost and our fee is a separate line, so the rate you receive is the client rate. Licensed close protection, where the brief needs it, is from EUR 850 per day, the market base, for one officer on twelve-hour cover. See what a luxury concierge costs and membership tiers.

Good to Know

Concierge in Sardinia: Frequently Asked Questions

What does a private concierge in Sardinia actually do?

Finds and opens the villa, staffs it with a chef, housekeeping, a nanny and a driver, meets you airside at Olbia or brings you in by helicopter, holds the boat, the berth, the tables and the beach clubs through the stay, runs the shore side for a yacht, and keeps one coordinator on the island who answers when the mistral closes the sea or the road is blocked for a regatta. Then it extends to the rest of the island when you want to leave the coast.

How much does a concierge in Sardinia cost?

Membership from EUR 95 per month at Client Access, with annual tiers from Guild at EUR 6,000 per year, or a single engagement quoted to the brief. The villa, the boat, the staff, the helicopter and the tables are passed through at cost and our fee is a separate line, so the figure you receive is the client rate. Licensed close protection, where needed, is from EUR 850 per day, the market base, for one officer on twelve-hour cover.

How far ahead should we book a villa on the Costa Smeralda?

Months ahead, and for the best houses the previous summer: the villas with their own cove, the berths in Porto Cervo and the staff who make August easy are reserved early, and a beach club table in August is a reservation made in spring. We are taking summer 2027 enquiries now. Outside the season we ask for at least seven days; under 48 hours carries an urgency fee and no promise.

Do you arrange villa staff in Sardinia?

Yes: a cook or a private chef, housekeeping, a butler for the dinners, a nanny who speaks the children's language, a driver attached to the house and a standing presence at night where the family wants one. Everyone is vetted, briefed and under NDA, and female staff are arranged where a family prefers them.

Can you support a yacht in Porto Cervo or Porto Rotondo?

Yes. We run the shore side for owners, guests and crew: the berth held ahead of the season, provisioning and laundry, the car at the quay, tables ashore, drivers for the days inland, a helicopter for guests arriving at Olbia and a coordinator who speaks to the marina in Italian. Crewed charters and day boats to the Maddalena archipelago are arranged through licensed partners.

How do we get from Olbia airport to the Costa Smeralda in summer?

Met airside, with the luggage moved separately, and then either a helicopter to the villa or a chauffeured car on the back road: in July and August the one coast road doubles its time and a car that is waiting rather than circling makes the difference. Private aviation into Olbia and the helicopter transfer are arranged on the same brief.

Can you get a table or a beach club in Porto Cervo in August?

With notice and a name the door knows, yes. The restaurants everyone wants run on reservations made weeks ahead and the beach clubs take names in spring. Where a table genuinely does not exist on a given night we say so and propose the alternatives that do, rather than promising and failing on the evening.

Do you cover the south of Sardinia and Alghero as well as the Costa Smeralda?

Yes. Cagliari, Chia and Santa Margherita di Pula in the south, Alghero and Stintino in the north-west, and the Gulf of Orosei on the east coast are covered by the same house with their own tables, boats and drivers. Distances on the island are longer than the map suggests, and we plan the days around them.

Can you arrange a boat to the Maddalena archipelago?

Yes. A day boat with a skipper to Spargi, Budelli, Santa Maria and the coves of Caprera, lunch on board or ashore, and timing that avoids the ferry traffic. In August the good boats are booked ahead; we hold them in advance and keep a plan for the day the mistral says no.

Do you organise weddings and celebrations in Sardinia?

Yes. A villa or a hotel on the coast, the boats, the guest transfers from Olbia, a dinner on the beach, the photographer and, where the guest list needs it, protection that nobody notices. Peak-season Italian weddings are planned twelve to eighteen months ahead. See destination weddings.

Do you speak Russian or Arabic in Sardinia?

English and Italian are standard. Russian-speaking and Arabic-speaking coordinators are a standing part of our team for the season on notice, and French, Spanish and Portuguese are available through the wider house. Gulf families are a large part of the Costa Smeralda summer and the staffing, the provisioning and the privacy are arranged accordingly.

Can you look after a villa we own in Sardinia through the winter?

Yes. The house is watched, maintained and inspected through the winter, opened and staffed in May, and closed properly in October, with one contact for the whole year, so that the first week of the summer is not spent fixing it. See property management.

Can concierge and personal security be arranged together in Sardinia?

Yes, and it is why clients use a protection house for concierge: the villa, the route, the driver and the officer are one plan. Close protection is a separate licensed service quoted to the brief and delivered through licensed Italian partners, with Prefettura-licensed officers, and on the Costa Smeralda in August it is the difference between a holiday and a story. See bodyguard in Sardinia.

Why Algoz rather than a local Sardinia concierge or the villa agency?

The villa agency works for the owner and stops at the key; a local concierge is as good as its people are available in August. Algoz gives you one accountable contact in your language, a coordinator on the island, a written proposal with every cost at cost, NDA from the first message, and licensed close protection on the same brief. Where we cannot deliver to our own standard, we say so rather than accepting the work and learning on your summer.

Discreet, Integrated, Trusted

Executive concierge in Sardinia with protection woven in.

Assistants, chiefs of staff and family offices arranging a principal’s stay work with one team that handles access, reservations, transport and security together - not a switchboard of separate vendors. Brief us once; we anticipate the rest.

Access is real and discretion is absolute: NDA-backed, OPSEC-aware planning, low-profile delivery, multilingual operatives, and protection that integrates so naturally it is never intrusive. It is why UHNWI and HNWI clients, royal households and the advisors who serve them treat Algoz as a trustworthy single point of contact in Sardinia.
