Terminal 1 covers all commercial arrivals; the general aviation facility is separately accessed. From NAP to the Naples waterfront is 15 to 20 minutes; from NAP to the start of the Amalfi Coast at Vietri sul Mare via the A3 autostrada is approximately 45 to 55 minutes. Positano is a further 45 minutes along the SR163 in light traffic - plan for longer in July and August. Our coordinator confirms coastal transit times based on your specific arrival date and season before every transfer.

The SR163 Statale Amalfitana demands a different vehicle calculus from city transport. For the coastal stages between Vietri, Amalfi, Positano and Sorrento, we recommend a Jeep or compact SUV - shorter overhangs, better turning circle and higher driver visibility than a full-size Mercedes S-Class on hairpin bends. For access to Positano’s upper village and the winding approach to Ravello, an agile 4x4 is the only sensible professional choice. Mercedes S-Class and V-Class are used for Naples city transfers, NAP airport runs and the autostrada stage from Naples to the coast start.

Which airports serve Naples and the Amalfi Coast?

Naples Capodichino (NAP) is the sole major airport for the Bay of Naples region, handling commercial, charter and private aviation. The general aviation apron is separately accessed from the main terminal and our coordinator liaises directly with your handler for airside handovers. Transfer from NAP to Naples city waterfront is 15 to 20 minutes; to Vietri sul Mare and the Amalfi Coast start is 45 to 55 minutes via the A3; to Positano it is approximately 90 minutes to 2 hours depending on season and SR163 traffic conditions.

Can you coordinate Capri transfers from Naples?

Yes. The standard Capri programme includes a Mercedes transfer from NAP or the Naples waterfront hotels to Molo Beverello ferry pier in the city centre, coordination of your hydrofoil or ferry crossing to Marina Grande, and a pre-arranged private island taxi transfer from the pier to your hotel or villa. Return journeys are confirmed in the same briefing. For clients arriving by private yacht at Marina Grande or Marina Piccola, a pre-positioned vehicle awaits at the pier. How does pricing work for Amalfi Coast chauffeur services?

Coastal transfers are priced by itinerary. A single NAP-to-Positano transfer is quoted point-to-point with the appropriate vehicle recommended based on the coastal road requirement. Day programmes covering multiple coastal towns - Positano, Amalfi, Ravello and Vietri in a single day - are quoted as a full-day hire per vehicle. Extended stay programmes for principals based at a Costiera villa for a week or more are quoted as a standing daily rate. Billing is in EUR, GBP, USD or AED. Summer season surcharges do not apply to confirmed bookings.

What languages does your Naples and Amalfi team speak?
