Venice Marco Polo (VCE) is the main international gateway on the mainland, 13 km north of Piazzale Roma. Treviso Antonio Canova (TSF) is 30 km northwest, used primarily for charter and low-cost traffic but increasingly for private charters during peak seasons. Nicelli Airport (VNE) on the Venice Lido — one of Europe’s oldest aeronautical sites — accepts light aircraft and propeller planes and places you on the lagoon island itself, removing the Piazzale Roma handover entirely. Algoz manages all three. For VCE and TSF, Mercedes meets at the terminal and the boat is pre-positioned at Piazzale Roma’s private water taxi pontoon. For VNE, a dedicated vehicle or boat meets on the Lido and transfers directly to your hotel watergate.

How does executive transportation work in Venice?

Venice requires two modes: road and water. Mercedes S-Class or V-Class covers the mainland leg from Marco Polo (VCE) or Treviso (TSF) to Piazzale Roma, the gateway island. At Piazzale Roma, a private speedboat or motoscafo takes over for the lagoon transit to your hotel water entrance. Aman Venice, Belmond Hotel Cipriani on Giudecca and private palazzi on the Grand Canal all have dedicated water steps. Our coordinator manages both legs as a single programme, with timing aligned so the boat is at the pontoon when your car arrives.

Which airports do you serve for Venice transfers?

We cover Venice Marco Polo (VCE) for all commercial and most private aviation arrivals, Treviso Antonio Canova (TSF) for charter and low-cost traffic, and the historic Nicelli Airport (VNE) on the Venice Lido for light aircraft and propeller planes. Nicelli is the only airport on the Venice island itself, eliminating the mainland handover and placing you directly on the lagoon. For all three airports, we confirm the precise arrival protocol with your handling agent or airline before positioning.

How is pricing structured for Venice VIP transfers?

Venice transfers are priced to reflect both the road and water components. A standard VCE-to-Grand Canal hotel transfer is quoted as a combined package including Mercedes mainland leg and private speedboat lagoon leg. Day programmes including inter-island transfers, Biennale pavilion circuits and Lido Film Festival movements are quoted on a programme basis. Billing is in EUR, GBP, USD or AED. Luggage handling between vehicle and boat is included; no separate porter charge is applied at the standard transfer level.

Do you provide transfers for the Venice Film Festival and Biennale?

Yes. The Venice International Film Festival in late August and September at the Lido, and the Venice Biennale spanning May to November, are core calendar events in our Venice programme. For Film Festival, we manage Lido island transfers between the Palazzo del Cinema, the Hotel Excelsior and private yacht moorings, alongside Marco Polo arrivals for high-profile guests. For Biennale, circuit transfers between national pavilions in the Giardini and Arsenale, and private vernissage evening boat transfers, are coordinated as multi-day programmes. We recommend briefing us four weeks ahead for peak Festival week.
