From the apron the day continues by road into the city, by helicopter to Verbier, Gstaad, Courchevel or the Engadin, or across into France within the hour. Winter weekends and the fair weeks are the two moments when Geneva ground handling becomes genuinely difficult, and they are the two moments the plan is worth the most.
